Thanks to Officer Farmer Lee for letting us tell his story. Also thanks to Ms.Gulden for providing the help I needed.

As a kid, Officer Farmer Lee originally wanted to become a firefighter. At sixteen years old, Officer Farmer lee was a volunteer in the fire service.
As time went by, Officer Farmer Lee's best friend talked about becoming a police officer. When Farmer Lee was in college, he discovered that the Ocean City, MD Police department had a summer police officer program, and so he signed up.

Ugh!!
The biggest challenge Officer Farmer Lee had to face was the boring sensation of patience. He says that patience is a skill and art and it takes time to master.

Officer Farmer Lee's family was very supportive of him and his job. Although his parents were nervous about his job, they supported him and believed he can do the job well.

Officer Farmer Lee says that without the support and the guidance of his parents, he wouldn't be where he is today. Although, he has also had some great mentors that guided him through the agency.
Stafford Farmer Lee spent 25 years working for the Alexandria Police Department. He was promoted to sergeant and served as a supervisor of police officers for part of his career. Officer Farmer Lee is proud of the integrity he has displayed throughout his career. He is satisfied with the knowledge that he can look anyone - a judge, defense lawyer, his family - in the face and say that he served the Alexandria community with honor.

Although he often felt like he wanted to give up, he found a way to continue to push himself. He developed unique skills that would be useful in other jobs. He left the police department feeling like he had given all he could to his career as an officer, but he still had the desire to try something new. He realized that he could retire from the police department and make contributions to public safety.
Officer Farmer Lee is currently responsible for managing law enforcement training and helping to coordinate the safety of Americans in Cameroon. He also advises the embassy and local authorities on practices that reduce the threat of terrorism.
