This is a fractured story of the classic "Beauty and the Beast ."

Once upon a time, a girl lived in New York City, her name was Brooklyn. She lived there with her dad. They had lived there for as long as Brooklyn could remember and have never left, and they were okay with that.

Brooklyn was in class one day when her teacher started talking about this place where as far as you can see were beautiful flowers of all different colors.

All day Brooklyn thought about how she was going to go to this place, and just the thought of it made her so excited.

She went home to her father and told him about this amazing place she had learned about, and how she was going to go there. "Honey that place is a myth" explained her dad "There is no such thing."

Brooklyn failed to believe her father, and had decided in a weeks time she would be leaving to go find this amazing place. "I wonder what it will be like?" she questioned "Is there really flowers of every color?"

Dear dad,
I have decided to go and find this amazing place by myself. Don't worry I will be back in 2 days I promise.
Love,
Brooklyn
After a week Brooklyn wrote her father a note before leaving to let him know where she was.

That night when she was traveling a big storm hit, and forced her to go down a different path than she originally planed to. "Maybe this is a sign that this is the way to the amazing place" said Brooklyn.
She traveled all day and all night, if felt like forever "maybe father was right, it really doesn't exist." As Brooklyn made that statement a bridge appeared in front of her. She was hesitant to cross it, but she had come this far, she was not ready to give.

As she crossed the bridge a shimmery mist covered the area where she was standing, until she could not see a thing, "is anyone there?" she yelled.
Just as she finished her sentence the mist cleared.
In front of her was the most amazing, beautiful, colorful garden she had ever seen. Red, yellow, purple, pink, every color you could think of was lined up in front of her.

"IT'S REAL" she said with excitement as she ran into the field. As she was running she took a big breath and it was the most amazing smell, the best assortments of fruits and flowers.

Just as she was about to pick one of the flowers, a bee came out of nowhere "I wouldn't pick that if I was you" said the bee,
"why not?" questioned Brooklyn.
"You will have to stay here forever if you do" answered the bee.

"How will you stop me?" questioned Brooklyn, as she said that the bee whistled and a group of all different kinds of insects came and circled her.

"What do you want from me?" Brooklyn questioned in panic.
"Marry me" said the bee with confidence.
"Why would I do that?" she said, "you have me trapped her against my will."

"Well then, you will stay here until you agree to marry me" order the bee.
"But I didn't even pick your flower" Brooklyn pleaded, "you have to let me go, I have a dad back home. Please?"
"I'm afraid I can't do that" said the bee as he flew away.

"Come this way" said the little ladybug,
"are you all stuck here, and have to listen to the bee?" Brooklyn questioned the insects.
"We are, but not by the bee, we just can't leave" explained the moth. "What do you mean?" asked Brooklyn.

"A long time ago this are was a beautiful village, where all the villagers lived in peace. Everyone knew everyone and they liked it like that" explained the ladybug, "but then one day the ruler of a neighboring village came over and told everyone this area was going to be changing into a big city" explained the dragonfly.

"Was the ruler back then now the bee?" asked Brooklyn.
"Yes, but before they could start building the city, a women put a spell on him and the entire city, and it will only be lifted if he could love another, and another could love him, or they will stay like this forever" said the butterfly.
