region produced ships because of
the abundance of lumber in the
area.



The New England Colonies
These were the north most
colonies in America, which
were founded on religion.



Southern Colonies
This region was mainly
known for crops and farms. It
made much money from
growing tobacco.



French And Indian War 1756-
1763
A 8 year long war between the
Britsish and French over fur traders in
the Ohio river valley which the British
won.



Treaty of Paris 1763
A document that ended the
war and granted British all land
east of the Mississippi river.



Proclamation of 1763
A law that forbid settlers
from settling west of the
Appalachian mountains
because the Native Americans
territory.



American Revolution
A series of battles between Americans &
British, caused by harsh taxes and
constrictive rule from british. The
Americans later won their
Independence.



Founding Fathers-Benjamin Franklin
Benjamin franklin heavily
supported the American Revolution and
was a very innovative man. He also
invented countless items which were
very useful at the time.



Founding Fathers - George Washington
George Washington was one of the
Founding Fathers of the United States,
serving as the commander-in-chief of
the Continental Army during the
American Revolutionary War.

John Adams was the second President
of the United States, having earlier
served as the first Vice President of the
United States. An American Founding
Father, he was a statesman, diplomat,
and a leader of American independence
from Great Britain

Thomas Jefferson was an American
Founding Father, the principal author of
the Declaration of Independence and
the third President of the United States

James Madison, Jr. was an American
statesman, the fourth President of the
United States

Alexander Hamilton was a Founding
Father, soldier, economist, one of
America's first constitutional lawyers
and the first United States Secretary of
the Treasury.



Declaration of Independence
The Declaration of Independence
was a statement adopted by the
Continental Congress on July 4, 1776,
which announced that the thirteen
American colonies, then at war with
Great Britain, regarded themselves as
independent states, and no longer a
part of the British Empire.



The Articles of Confederation was an
agreement among the 13 states that
established the United States of America as a
confederation and served as its first
constitution.



The Constitution of the United States is the
backbone of the United States of America. A
legislature, executive branch led by the
President, and a federal judiciary headed by
the Supreme Court. And each watches each
other via Checks & Balances.



The Bill of Rights is the collective name for the
first ten amendments to the United States
Constitution. These limitations serve to protect
the natural rights of liberty and property. They
guarantee a number of personal freedoms,
limit the government's power in judicial and
other proceedings, and reserve some powers
to the states and the public.
