There once was a little girl, Annie Oakley, who
lived with her beloved family containing her
mother, father, and 6 other siblings, Oakley being
the fifth of seven. She was living a care-free life
up until her father passed away. This is when
Oakley started showing her true heroic colors.
Annie Oakley was a hero of all time due to her
bravery, determination, and resourcefulness.

Annie Oakley was the first female sharpshooter remembered
today. She was constantly thriving to hunt, sell, and keep her
family going. Oakley was a very determined, courageous, and
resourceful woman. Oakley had many life changing experiences
that formed how she was, including being adopted into an abusive
family, in which she called the "wolf family. " Oakley was worked,
hurt, lied to, underfed, and uncared for when she lived with them.
One day, when the "wolf family" was away, she made a break for it.
Even when Oakley knew she was chancing everything, she still
attempted to run away. Oakley hit the train station, and rode it
back to the orphanage. Though the family came storming back to
the orphanage, demanding Oakley back, she remained living happily
with the orphanage. This is only one example of how she was brave.

Annie Oakley was also very determined. One way that Oakley
showed this was because she was constantly trying to prove a
point, in which was that women could do anything that only
men were thought to be able to accomplish. When Oakley was
in Buffalo Bill's Wild West, the profit she made went to
Butler/herself, her mother, and orphanages. She was
constantly thriving to keep herself and her mother going.
After all her mom had been through, Oakley was determined
to keep her satisfied and happy. Oakley was also committed
to performing well in the Wild West shows, always trying her
hardest to entertain and surprise the audience, making them
happier.

Annie Oakley was also very resourceful. For example, when she first
started hunting and selling game. After her father died and Oakley
started using his gun, she started to shoot animals for meat. As she
improved her accuracy, she would kill bigger animals, take meat for her
family, and sell the rest to butchers. Even though Oakley got barely any
education, she was smart with her decisions. She would go around shooting
animals through the skull, bringing them in, and getting a nice bargain for
the kill. Soon enough, the whole town knew what a good shot she was. Her
customers never complained about a bad shot spot on the animals’ body.
Oakley was known even by restaurants due to the extra meat the butchers
didn’t need, they sold it to restaurants. Another way Annie Oakley was
resourceful was that she used her skills for a job and activity. This is
because she applied her shooting skills in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show
and made Butler, herself, and the business admired and famous, causing
them to make more profit and viewers. With the money she earned, she
and Butler gave to Oakley's mother, saved, and donated to orphanages.
Oakley also used this trait to help her get deals/bargains, matches, more
opportunities.
