And I did follow her. I don't know why. I could've left for home, but I was curious. She led me into a room I had never seen before. I saw my mom!

Ms. Marigold told me that she was trapped in the underworld. I could free her because I had the gift. I had no clue what that meant.

We left that room and went back into the classroom. She told me I had magic powers! I didn't really believe her. However, I did what she told me to so I didn't get in trouble.

She told me to close my eyes and concentrate. I did. When I opened up my eyes I was in a completely different place. I looked so different. I looked like a superhero!

Ms. Marigold told me that I had the ability to travel to and from the underworld. Apparently I was like some sort of queen of the underworld. All I cared about was saving my mom.
