Once upon a time, there was a dog called Lydia. She was living in a great and warm house with big windows, colorful walls and a lot of love! She was eating a lot and she was the most important creature on earth for her owner, Helen .

But something terrible happened...

When the sun was up in the sky, Lydia was hungry... So she decided to go to the kitchen and eat something quickly and quietly... She went to the fridge, she opened it but all these things fell on the floor! Lydia tried to clean them up, so she went up the table and took a towel with her mouth... But with this move, all the things that were there fell on the kitchen table!

A terrible noise woke up Lydia's owner! When she arrived at the kitchen and saw all this mess, she was very, very angry! Her face was red from anger and her eyes were looking Lydia with hatred! She took her dog, and she threw her out of the house!

<<Out! Out!>> You were very ,very bad dog! Do not do this again! I hate you! I guess that you will do this again! So... I decided... You will never be in this house again! I don't care what you will do outside! Goodbye forever!

Like you maybe understand, Helen, found the best opportunity to kick out Lydia. The truth is, that Helen tried a lot of times to do that because she didn't want Lydia in her house anymore... She wanted to live away from this city at an other place, with her friends. No one could keep her dog for ever! So, this situation was perfect for her! Lydia was abandoned and without food! But she didn't understand that the streets were very, very dangerous!

When she was walking in the streets, she saw a lot of strange things that she had never seen before! A dog that it was chasing a cat, two dogs that they were fighting, tons of trash, machines with four wheels and a lot of shops with sweets, vegetables and... Dog food! It was almost dark and it was very cold weather! Lydia was starving! She was cold and lonely! She didn't have a warm blanket, a hot flame in a fireplace, a sweet kiss and a sweet hug! She was scared and very sad!
