once upon a time there was a girl who lived in a castle her
Aunt and Uncle. Everyday every night she looked outside
hoping that someone would find her and take her away
from the castle. The real world was only seen
through her bedroom window.

The people of the small town down in the valley always
looked busy and that she wished that maybe one day she
would be allowed to leave the castle so she could discover
what it be like to be among people.

Her Aunt and Uncle were sweet but they would not let
her be among the normal people, they said she was
not to mingle with the common people because
when she turns 18 she would be marred to a
Noble man called Henry Sutcliff of
Wales.

Mary was only five year old when her mother and father
killed by some thieve while they were on their home from
visiting her Aunty and Uncle. Mary,Mary where are you"
screamed her Aunty. Mary snapped out of her daydream of
leaving the castle.

Aunt i am in my room" answering in a soft voice. Mary why
do you sit there all the time looking out of the window, we are
about some afternoon tea, come join us no thank you Aunt.
Aunty must i marry this man i will be 18 in a week. Can i not
just leave the and see what it like to be there among the
towns people" Mary pleaded.

Mary; your parents promised you to the noble man we do
not say no. If it was not for him your parents would have lost
everything and you would not have any dowery to to present
to the Noble Man. Mary slumped in her "Yes
Aunty I know. I will be there soon to have
afternoon tea with you.

Mary prepared herself for tea with her Aunt and Uncle. She
walked toward the tea room but as soon as she reached the
last step she saw that the door was open and there was a
horse waiting for its owner.

Mary looked around and saw one so with a split second she
decided that this was an opportunity for her to leave the
castle. She climbed up on the horse and she rode away. She
couldn't believe that she was gone; she turned around to see if
anyone was following her. No one was there and the
castle looked so small as she rode away.

She reached the town. She climbed down and she tied the
horse to a pole. The town was busy and people were
everywhere. She walked around looking at everything, she
seemed to be in daze it was all too much for her. "Mary my
dear, are you alright" her Uncle was standing over her patting her
cheek to wake up. "Oh my lord what is wrong with her" Dear Sir I
think she has fainted". The strong voice woke her.
