On one fateful day, Timmy was playing in his tree house. But oh, no! He took a wrong step and tumbled down to the ground. on his great fall down, he scraped his arm on a piece of old metal fence.

Mrs. Turner saw the whole thing happen and rushed him off to the doctor!

At the office of Dr. Wanda, Nurse Cosmo leads Mrs. Turner and Timmy into the office. He tells them that Timmy may have been infected with Tetans, so he must get a Tetanus shot.

Timmy begins to worry: what if it hurts? what if it just makes him feel sick? does he even really need a Tetanus shot? These were all questions Mrs. Turner didn't have an answer to.

Mrs. Turner wanted Timmy to be healthy, but she didn't know if vaccines were the right choice to keep him safe. That's when Nurse Cosmo walked in.

Nurse Cosmo saw that they were both scared. So, he sat down with them and explained what vaccines really were.

Nurse Cosmo began by saying that yes, vaccines do contain the disease that they are preventing, but they do not make you sick. He explains that some very smart doctors take some bad diseases and either put an end to that disease or make them so weak that the diseases can't hurt you ever again. That way your body is prepared for the next time it comes in contact with that disease.

Timmy seems reassured, but Mrs. Turner still seems to have some questions. That's when Dr. Wanda walks in to give Timmy his Tetanus shot.

But Timmy still had one more question: what if it hurts? Dr. Wanda sat down next to Timmy and said that it was only a pinch, but it was a pinch that would protect him from Tetanus for 10 whole years!

Timmy was excited and curious to see if he would feel like a superhero after getting his shot. He could fight off a nasty disease for 10 whole years!

While Timmy was excited to see what wold happen next, Mrs. Turner still has many unanswered questions.

While Dr. Wanda was prepping Timmy for his shot, Mrs. Turner asked Nurse Cosmo to step outside with her for a second.
