BODY
Anne's diary commences the day after her birthday, on June 13th of 1942. She starts talking about everything she did and what presents she got because of her birthday. She was excited for her diary, for her, it was the greatest gift.
Anne did not write in her diary every day, she could write with differences of two to three days or with a variation of months.
Midway June 20th and June 24th of 1942 she wrote about her story, about her dad and her mom and also her sister Margot, she said her diary was her new friend. She specified the dates of special dates, such as her sisters birthday and her birthday.
She also explained why she moved to Holland, it was because her whole family was Jewish and they were being persecuted by the German army. Anne also wrote about the "new laws" of the German army for Jewish people, and she didn't find those new rules fair.
Furthermore, she wrote about how good she was doing in school and how she likes to talk and hates to stay quiet although that brought her problems.
In the same way, Anne relates when a boy from her school accompanied her on the way to school describing him as a funny boy.
She stopped writing for days moreover she started writing again in July. This month she wrote from July 1st to July 11th of 1942. In this month many things radically changed in Anne's life.
Anne starts talking about his new friend Hello, the boy who accompanied her to school the other day, she wrote about Hello's girlfriend who she was sweet but boring! She wrote about when Hello visited her on a Sunday, they drank tea and then went for a walk, she came home late. Her father got mad.
Later that week Anne wrote about how she did great on her exams, and how Margot did even better that same day, she said that her father was not able to work anymore, she thought that made him felt like he was not needed anymore. She relates to us, a conversation she had with her father, where he told her to "enjoy herself while she can" because soon, she won't be able to. She didn't quite understand, but she knew they were going somewhere.
