It makes them not understand what someone is saying or they can't talk. For example, Lisa can't talk because she hurt her broca's area.

Cognition are all the activities that deal with how we think, remember, and communicate.

Deja Vu is the feeling that you have seen something before or been in the same moment before.
Thinking you saw a movie before but you actually haven't would be an example of deja vu

Extinction is when a particular way you behave or act because of something. Extinction is when this behavior stops happening.

"Dinosaurs are extinct. They don't exist anymore."
In psychology, if you stop jumping after being scared by your brother in his Halloween costume 100 times, would be an example of extinction.

The feel-good, do-good phenomenon is the idea that when you feel good that you are more likely to do something good for someone else.
Veronica feels good, so she helps Chloe with her homework

These are cells who support the neurons in our brain
Brianna's glial cells help her neurons send messages when she is trying to remember something from a very long time ago.

A heuristic is a strategy that allows you to make decisions quickly.
Tiffany chose a piece of watermelon over a cupcake because it is healthier

It is a system that senses where your body parts are. This is how Dallas can touch her leg without looking at it.

This is when you are in a situation that you can not get out of, so you learn to just take it and not try to get out anymore.
A puppy who tries to get out of a cage will eventually stop because he has learned there is no way out

is for monocular cues

These are cues that you can judge depth with only using one eye
This is how we can whether or not something is close or far away by looking at the shadows that objects cast.

This is when someone falls asleep out of now where before it is night time.
Ex: Jenny suddenly falls asleep during her job interview

This is a part of the brain that allows us to see
I can see the road signs as I drive because of my Occipital lobe

is for parietal lobe

This is the part of the brain that processes the information we get from our five senses.
