Everyone lives happily in a country where there are full of digits.

Every morning the sun similes,the flowers smell and the eyes of each digit shine much more than ever.

In this country each of two digits has one commander. No one can go anywhere without greeting the commanders.



1 is the commander of 2 and 3.

4 is the commander of 5 and 6.

7 is the commander of 8 and 9.

And finally Pi is the Commander-in-chef.

One day the Commander-in-chef Pi assigns a duty to the soldiers.

Those soldiers go to battle front and they come across with a war.

Their duty is to fight against enemies. All of the soldiers are afraid of the war because their enemies are NUMBERS.

8 says: We are digits but they are numbers. The possibility of winning this war is %5.

They don't know what to do. If they lose, those numbers will occupy their country. Therefore, everyone in anxious.

8:If me manage to fight against them, we will make all numbers be disappointed.

Meanwhile, 8 and 5 are arguing with each other.

5: How can you believe that we can defeat ! They are stronger than us. I mean we will lose at last. I think there is no need to waste all our energy in this war.

8: Yeah they are stronger but at least we can say that we have tried !

5: We will be defeated.

8: No! We will be defeated.

5: Oh, come on 8, you are so selfish. You always mind yourself.

8: Oh no no no. In fact you are selfish.

While they are arguing 2 interrupts them and says:

"Please don't argue with each other.

We must support each other.

While 5 tires to say something, 2 interrupts him, too and goes on.



"Don't say anything! We have to support each other. Anyway we have to try as 8 says.

:Ok. Ok. Then we will act as how you want.

2 is very happy when 5 respects his decision.

While they are talking, a huge bomb hits the country and they find themselves in a hard battle.

Immediately after the explosion, number 10 appeared. He was a doctor. He started to treat the wounded. The digits 2 and 3 had injured hands, the digits 5 and 6 lost their legs and 7 and 8 got hit in their heads. 

Number 10 put all of them in the ambulance and took them to the hospital.

They all survived, maybe they still live today. And number 10 became a national hero in the land of digits.

They tried to find out who sent the bomb, and they realized that the numbers were those who did it. In this situation, all the digits became very sad and started a strike. 

They simple refused to get out of their house. All the world around them started to suffer.

Digit one symbolizes the unicity of the Earth, the Sun and the Moon, digit two emphasizes the pair of eyes, of hands, of ears. Digit 3 is the symbol of Trinity, of a polygon with the smallest numbers of sides, 4 suggests the wheels of cars, 5 the fingers of a hand and so on.

As the digits refused to get out of their house, no number was able to be created.

So, all the numbers were in a big trouble. What could they do?

One day the Commander-in-chef Pi came to the door of their house. He knocked, and knocked and knocked, but nobody wanted to open the door. Finally, the digit 9 dared to open the door for him.

“Dear digits”, he said, “I can see you are very sad. And, yes, you are right. But we should go to an end with this situation, all the numbers are suffering, in fact, all the world in affected by this situation. Let’s finish it and re-consider out position.”

“Oh, really?” the digit 5 said. ”Do you need us? But have you seen me? And my friend, digit 6? We have no legs anymore. Who gives me and him our legs back? What about the others, who were wounded?”

“Well, take this potion. In 3 days you will have your legs back.”

“3 days? You are joking. The digit 3 haven’t woken from its bed from mmm I don’t remember how many days.”

The Commander-in-chef Pi went to the digit 3 bed and convinced him to wake up. Then, they wrote down an agreement in which everybody recognized the great importance of the digits in creating numbers.

After that, they went and meet the numbers, they all agreed that it was a great mistake to fight to each other, as long as none of them can survive without the others.

Now, they are living happily

in the Land of Digits.
