Mommy, today we are going ona field trip to the Twin Towers.
Kobe, I remember you told me
two weeks ago that you were
going on a field trip September
11,2001.

Guess what Mommy? Isn't that
the same building you work in?
Mommy said, "Yes Kobe now
let's hurry up so I can get you
on the bus so you won't miss
the tour today.

Don't forget your lunch on the counter
Kobe!! Kobe said, "OK Mom I won't."
Give me a kiss before you leave Kobe!
He grabbed his mom and kissed her
head.
Kobe rushed out of the door and jumped
on the school bus full of excitement.

Kobe arrived at school and went to his
homeroom Mrs. Alvarez where everyone in
the class was excited about the trip to the
Twin Towers.
He sees his friends John and Steve, and
joins them on the way to the buses for the
field trip joined by their chaperon Chuck
Smith, John's father.

Mrs. Alvarez announced, "Kids we have
arrived to our destination," The kids
shouted Yay and were full of
excitement. Mrs. Alvarez told the kids to
calm down and pair with their chaperon.
Kobe was even more excited than
anyone else because he was going to
see his Mom at work today.

Kobe squealed to his friends John and
Steve, "Guys!! We are going to have so
much fun today!"
When Kobe and his friends begin to
follow their chaperon he sees his Mom
coming down to get a cup of coffee and
a pastry from Starbucks.

Soon Kobe saw his Mom he heard a loud
boom and felt the ground trembling.

Everyone begins to panic running around
screaming.
The chaperons and parents that were present
on the field trip begin to grab the children and
calm them down.
As the were calming them down Hector, the
tour guide comes over to Mrs. Alvarez second
grade class and screams, "Guys we must exit
the building NOW!"

The class all exited the Tower safely.
Soon they exited and followed the
firefighters Kobe begins to think about
his Dad who is a firefighter on the New
York City Fire Department.
