I want to dedicate this book to

When I stepped outside, a humid breeze blew my braided white hair over my chest. I blinked twice. A normal Japenese day, humid, breezy type weather with no on walking around. The reflection of my crystal blue eyes appeared as I looked at a clear sliding glass door. I waited for my friend to appear. She told me she would meet me outside. I began to wonder if she forgot, so while I waited a little longer, I decided to take a few minute stroll down the
rocky trail.

But all a sudden, as I was walking father, I felt a trickle up my back... and everything went blank...Then my vision reappeared, but not where i was. It was in like a portal or something, it felt like I was floating there, flailing while I worriedly wondered where I was. The portal type thing felt like nothing I felt before, it made sound like a tornado put quieter and more elaborate and sort of cool.
Oof! I hit my face hard on grass, and rolled on my back. Ugg. Wait... Grass? Am I home? I opened my eyes but saw blurry weird trees. I rubbed my eyes and then opened them again. Weird!I still saw the blury trees and grass. Was I imagining this? I gently covered my face with my hands and whined. My face hurt. And I was tired. I sighed and un covered my face, letting my hands drop lifelessly to the side. "bla bla bla uh?" I heard a boy's voice in like some different language and jumped and screamed. I jumped to my feet, looked around and started backing up. I stood there, confused and scared
I bumped into someone, gasped, and turned around. I was about to run, but when I saw his face, I instantly felt safe. He looked nice, and kind- I would say. He had a warm smile, and all my worries disapeared. I asked, "Is this a new version of my village?" And he looked at me. His hand fumbled in his pocket until he found something....It was in a square shape. And he put it up close to my mouth. I asked again, "Is this a better version of my village?" And he looked at that square thing. It beeped. I gasped. And he smiled. He talked into it, then all a sudden I heard his voice clearly. It said, "I speak english. This is America. My name is Hon. Come, I will show you my home." And he reached his hand out. I wondered to myself...do I trust him?

I looked at him. I looked at his hand. I looked past him. A big hill. I bit my lip. I decided to take his hand. This was a risk. But he lead me to a big place. It was wonderful! I felt like yelling in awe!
We still held hands. He looked at me, and talked into the thing. And he held it so I could hear, "This is my home. Would you like to come inside and see my family? You seem lost and we would like to help you. What is your name?" I listened and when it was finished I looked behind me. Ehh...I don't know. I then looked at him. I decided to come inside.

I screamed. It was terrifying! It had pointy sharp teeth and was buff and huge and it looked scary! I started to run, but when I looked back it was chasing me. The beast didn't chase me! So I walked over and saw it wagging what it's tail. I smiled. This beast is kinda cute!
I came inside. This house was big and nice. A good smell of brand new house greeted my nose. When I went inside, my mouth dropped. The house was a new generation! It had nice chairs and...windows! We couldn't a ford that in our village! And he had... Wow. This weird hard thing on the ground. My bare feet touched it, it was cold. I smiled at the boy. I let go of his hand and ran to investigate. Wow! I into room after room after room. Then I reached something. It looked like... steps. But many. And why were they in a home? right before I went to step up them, a crazy thing stepped up and growled!
