John Adams was the second president of the united states. He was known for many things. one thing he did was defend the british soldiers during the Boston massacre. Another he did was pass the 1798 Alien and Sedition act. This act made it harder to get US citizenship which caused him to loose his second term. He also opposed Jays treaty and sent Officals to Paris. John Adams was a leader in the continental congress, and was a important diplomatic figure.

Thomas Jefferson was the third president of the united states. He was known for many things. The biggest was the Lousiana purchase. This was the greatest purchase in US history. He was also chosen to draft the declaration. He also reduced the government size and cut taxes. Hamilton helped Jefferson win the election. He is also well known as the founding father of the US. He also tried to give states more power.
