“Sorry Joel.” Johnny said. “I know how you feel but you just won’t be best suited for continuing the band.” Joel was staying at Johnny’s place because he lived in a different state and while he was visiting he needed a place to stay. Joel packed up his belongings. “I’m really sorry, we can still hang out though.”

On the plane ride home Joel had a dream. Loud words echoed in his head, “Steal their next biggest song. You’ll be famous. When they accuse you, accuse them. Steal it. Steal it.” When he woke up, he smiled. Revenge.

Hi Joel! How are you? Good. Did you steal our song?

Later that night, Joel got a call from Johnny. “Hey did you steal our new song we put out to day and passed it off as your own? You know that’s plagiarism right? It’s also piracy since you had to illegally download it first.” All he heard was Joel mumble mhm.

 “Well that’s illegal and you should take it down, you might get sent to jail. It’s copyright which means you can’t steal any of our songs no matter how bad you want to get revenge. Look, I know your mad but I still want to be your friend. Maybe if we colab and make a song, then we have fair use and you can use it too.” Johnny said calmly
