Emotions

Emotions play a big role when having a child. When having a child you have to make sure you are in the right state of mind and have to be pre-pared to take care of the child. People like to rush into things.

Day In the life

On a normal day at the Smith household, the children are happy and mom and dad are ready anyday now for their new baby that is about to come any day now. Mom and Dad have sat down with the child that will now be the middle child telling her that the attention might not always be on her now that they are about to have another baby. The eldest is a six year old named Zayne. He knows what it feels like to not have the attention on him all the time. He understands it is what is best for the baby, although little Ivory is having a hard time with the concept.

Zayne

We explained to him that it is just going to be like having Ivory. He didnt say much besides the fact that he is really excited about getting another sibling. You have to inform the child that when the baby comes he has to be a little independent and help the other siblings understand what it's like having another sibling.

Ivory

Ivory likes to have all of our attention so we knew that shes going to have a hard time with this. She wasnt very excited that we told her it was a boy but we told her that nobody gets to pick what they have.

Planning for the baby

A lot comes into effect when planning for a baby. One of the biggest things is that comes into effect is having the nursery done. Now when we found out the gender, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Jake doesnt really care about what the rooms look like as long as they are in style. I wanted a modern look for our baby's room. Also, we decided to name the baby Grayson. When we think of the name Grayson we think really elegant. His room is going to be modern with how the rest of the house is.

Mother

I had to make sure that I was ready to take on another child and that I was going to have to learn not only to balance the love of 2 kids but 3. I know that I had to breastfeed and be in the right state of mind when this was going to happen. I had very good pregnancies with Zayne and Ivory I had them the natural way and they were really good. When bringing a baby home you have to stay calm.

Father

I am excited to have another baby. There is a lot on my mind about caring for the baby. One thing that comes into effect is financial needs. When having a baby you have to make sure that you have the right mindset on what to actually spend your money on and what is a want and what is a need. I want to help Ayla in any way I can. When being the father you have to assist more with the older kids while the mother is dealing with the newborn. With bringing a kid home you have to support the mother.

Financial

When having a baby you have to save money because having a baby isn't cheap. You have to make sure that you are going to be able to still provide for the other family members while the pregnancy is still going on. You have to learn not to be selfish with your money to care for the baby.You also have to be mature when making decisions.
