Once upon a time in a land where everything halloween was real, creatures and monsters all lived in harmony.

This was the magical land of spook city, and in this land....everyone loves halloween!

but the best of friends

were franklin the monster,

Gabby the ghost,

and veronica the vampire!

and went trick or treating together,

every single year!

This year would be different from before though.

This year, all three friends decided to make their own halloween costumes for a friend and what they were making would be a total surprise!

franklin would make

veronica's costume.....

gabby would make

franklin's costume......

and veronica would make

gabby's costume.....

each one of the friends, exchanged their measurements so the costumes would fit perfectly.....

with only 3 days left until halloween, the friends ran into some big problems!

veronica gave franklin her arm length measurements in sections. her shoulder to her elbow is 25 inches. from her elbow to her wrist, 17 inches.....

franklin would need to figure out what her total arm length measurement is.

Franklin wanted to get started on veronica's costume, But he needed to figure out how to get the full arm length.

He tried to subtract, but the measurement was too small.

Then it clicked! he needed to add 25 and 17!

Franklin did the Math and started on Veronicas costume.

franklin gave gabby the measurement of a pair of his dad's pants because he didn't have a measuring tape. He asked his dad and found out that the length of his pants are 40 inches long. franklin figured out he was only 15 inches smaller. Gabby had to figure out how long franklin's pants should be.

Gabby wanted to get started on Franklyn's costume, But she needed to figure out how to get Franklin's pants length.

sHe tried to add 15 more inches, but that made them longer than Frankiln's dads pants.
