MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATURK
1881-1938
Mustafa Kemal was born in 1881 in Salonica, Ottoman Empires. His father name was Ali Rıza Efendi and his mother name was Zübeyde Hanım. His sister's name was Makbule. He went to Şemsi Efendi Primary School. Then he went to Salonica Military School. He was a hardworking student . He graduated from War Acedemy with the rank of captain in 1905. Mustafa Kemal appointed as the commander of Anafartalar Group and he won the Çanakkale War. He went to Samsun on 19th May 1919. Because he started the War of Independence. He opened the Turkish Grand National Assembly on 23rd April 1920
Turkish Grand National Assembly) gave him surname Atatürk. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk saved the country from invasion of the enemies. He founded the Turkısh Republic .He was elected the first President of the Turkish Republic.He died at 09:05 am on 10th November1938 and his grave in Anıtkabir,Ankara.

He was originally from Isparta and was born in 1149 (1736). He is one of the rare statesmen who has demonstrated his determination and courage by taking all the life dangers into consideration by not only realizing the necessity of renewal and correction of the Ottoman State which was regressed with the Treaty of Karlofca in 1699 and which had suffered a heavy defeat against Russia with the Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca in 1774.
Halil Hamid Pasha, who continued his grand vizier successfully for two years and four months and revealed his satisfaction with his services on various occasions by I. Abdulhamid I. and all his assets were confiscated. Halil Hamid Pasha was not executed immediately; After being forced to reside here, he was given the province of Abyssinia with the addition of the Sheikh of Mecca and the flag of Jeddah.
Halil Hamid Pasha, who spent April 1785 in Bozcaada, where he was preparing for the same purpose, was ordered to wait for the road supply to the island of Kos to wait for the same purpose. He was killed by Karakethüdâzâde Ali (27 April 1785), one of the men of Algerian Gazi Hasan Pasha, who was assigned to this business because he was issued an edict for his execution (27 April 1785).

UZUN MEMED
Uzun Mehmed is the man who found “coal” first in Turkey.He is from Zonguldak Ereğli –Kestaneci Village.He lived in the year 1800s.He was a soldier in İstanbul.We were exporting coal from England so Mahmud the 2.conducted to fid coal everywhere in Turkey.The soldiers wanted Uzun Mehmed to search coal after he left the army.
One day he found black Stones and he burnt them so he became happy aafter this.He brought it to Mahmud the 2. To İstanbul.It was the day 8 . November 1829.Unfortunately he was killed whie drinking poisonıous coffee.

First Female Monarch of Georgia.
Tamar was born in 1160.Her father king George started to include Tamar in government and crowded her as a co-ruler in 1178,when she was only 18 years old.Great Georgian poet Shota Rustavelli portrayed her in his epic poem the Knight in the Panther's Skin.

SABİHA GÖKÇEN
THE LEGENDARY GIRL of the SKIES
Gökçen was the first woman in Turkey to earn a pilot’s license and is also believed to be the world’s first female combat pilot.
Sabiha Gökçen was born in March 22, 1913.After death of her parents she was adopted by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk after his visit to Bursa.
After she had finished College She enrolled in Civil Aviation School and awarded High Gliding Brevets.
She was also Sent to education to Russia and finished her education successfully.
Sabiha Gökçen, who flew with total 22 different bomber and acrobatic airplanes throughout her life, was the owner of many awards and she also received International Aviation Federation gold medal.

Born March 4, 1118 and died to October 1, 1195.
He gave the founding document of the city of Pombal in 1174.
He was the knight of D. Afonso Henriques, our first King.
