To anyone with an idea

In that moment, looking out at the raindrops pattering against the window and a squirrel burying it's nut, a brilliant solution came to her mind. Noelle's face burst into a smile.
"I've got it!"
"Really?" questioned Kara, "because you said that the last three times, and none of those ideas were logical. Or practical. Or possible!"
"Shut up Kara," replied Noelle, "this time it might actually work!"
The 15-year-old girls, sitting in Kara's bedroom, were trying to make a plan. A really big plan. A plan to save the world from climate change. So far, their plan was to convince the government to get on their side. The small glitch was how exactly to do that.
"Let's look on the internet again," suggested Kara.
"Fine," agreed Noelle, flipping her long dark hair, "my idea probably wouldn't have worked anyways." Kara smirked knowingly as they crossed her room to access the computer.
The best friends typed in the same keywords that they had before: 'climate change', 'government loopholes', and many others similar to those.
Exasperated, Noelle scrolled all the way to the bottom of the very last page. She sighed and began to turn off the computer when Kara yelled, "Wait! I think I see something!" She took control of the mouse and clicked on the very last website, a shady-looking page.
The title was 'Texts the Government Doesn't Want You to See'. Rolling her bright blue eyes and assuming it was clickbait, Kara opened it. What these unsuspecting teenagers saw was life-changing.
Two days, plenty of shock, four convinced parents, and three peanut-butter sandwiches later, Kara and Noelle were on the way to confront the Prime Minister of Canada.
Kara was in disbelief that she had gone from living on the streets, to being adopted by her moms, to confronting the leader of her country.
Noelle was extremely jittery, full of peanut butter sandwiches, and also in disbelief that two teenage girls had found an article on how climate change had happened before, with only ten survivors in the end, and the government had covered it up. Unbelievable.
As they pulled up to the House of Parliament in Noelle's dad's car, both girls were experiencing a variety of emotions somewhat new to them.
"Well, good luck in there," said Chris, sounding just as nervous as his daughter and her best friend felt.
"Thanks Dad", replied Noelle as she and Kara got out of the car.
Once in the lavishly decorated government building, Kara and Noelle felt very out of place. Because they had called ahead, they checked in with the condescending receptionist and got their visitor badges.
Both girls steeled their nerves, and headed towards Meredith Williams, the Prime Minister's office.
"This is crazy," whispered Noelle as they padded quietly along the carpeted halls.
"I know, right?" replied Kara, "I hope this works!"
They knocked on the Prime Minister's burnished wooden door, and Meredith Williams opened it, looking completely unfazed to see two teenagers standing there.
"Come in," she said in a low, calm voice, stepping into the room to reveal her office, which resembled a throne room fit for an ancient monarch.
Kara let out an audible gulp.
"I would like to put this on live television, if that's alright with you young ladies? I just love the initiative you're taking, and I think it's a great message for our nation to see," uttered the leader in a friendly tone.
Kara and Noelle looked at each other, then back to the Prime Minister and nodded almost simultaneously.
"Alright then, let's begin."
Meredith Williams signaled to the cameraman standing in the corner, and Kara saw a red light go on. The now terrified girls began their prepared speech.
They spoke first about the problem facing their nation, then the discovery they'd made, and finally, what they wanted to do.
The ambitious teenager's plan was that the government would announce their discovery to the country, then fix the problem, which they were able to do, and lastly, promise to never cover something like this up again.
In their opinions, it was a truly inspirational speech.
