Once upon a time in Madagascar there was a child called Slapin. He was a shy boy who was scared to leave his home. He was afraid of meeting new people because he thought they would judge him for not being as rich as the others or as wise.  

 His mother came to him one day telling him he will be going to Ravenwood Primary School that has  grades from 1 to 4. He tried to talk his way out but his mother consisted. He still wasn't completely upset since he had his best friend Jula who is also going to the same school. She is going to be their made him happy.

Today is his first day. He is walking around the halls nervously trying to find a way to fit in. He found his class at the end of the hallway. When he walked in, He immediately felt the feeling of 14 students staring at him. The teacher Said, Ahh there you are, Come in and introduce yourself. He walked slowly to the front of the class. He says his Jula give him a thumbs up from her seat. Then he Said "Hi! nice to meet you." in a small but hearable voice. The class replied back saying nice to meet you. He felt welcomed.

 He saw an open sit next to Jula, He speed walked next to and sat down. The teacher told them which locker is theirs and the code to unlock it. Both Jula and slapin got the same locker to share. While everyone was taking and putting away their items, There was a little boy named Gara demanding that a child give him all his stuff or else he would hurt him. The terrified little boy did just as he asked.

But, What Gara didn't notice was the teacher standing right behind him who watched the whole situation. The little boy ran behind the teacher saying, "help me". In scared, little voice.

The teacher shouted, "Gara! How dare you steal from your classmates. You should know better."

Gara went back into the class stomping angrily. The teacher said, "Are you ok?" He said yes in a small voice. She tickled him. "Stop". He said smiling. She knew that would cheer him up a bit.

Gara was in the corner of the classroom punching a toy he stole from a kid at his last school. Slapin thought to himself that Gara is probably shy like him but was mean because he was afraid of being bullied so he became a bully. Slapin came to him and said are you lonely? Gara replied yelling, "NO". Salpin backed up a bit but consisted of being friends with him. He went back and said, "I will be your friend." Gara was surprised!

 All his school years nobody wanted to get close to him because they were scared of what he would do to them. But, Slapin came to him and even ask to be friends with him. He did not know what to say. few seconds later he said, "ok." Slapin helped him off the ground . Slapin then after tried teaching him how to be kind to others. Gara slowly became more nice and also slowly got more friends to play with and learn from. It was the happiest he ever was in his entire life.

Soon they were in grade 4. About to go to grade 5 in another school. At the end of the year Gara said, " thank you for helping me and being there for me." Slapin replied, " No worries, I was also in your situation. I never knew how to talk to others. But I thought if I treated others the way I want to be treated. They would treat me respectfully and kindly. Soon Slapin was in grade 5 with his old friend Jula. The teacher said "there is one more student coming."
