There is a young boy called Hades with his brother Zeus.

They are very happy and they always are together playing and singing.

However, their dad,Chronos,names Zeus the king of the gods. All the people are happy, except Hades.

Hades is jealous and nobody listens to Him, so he feels alone.

He is all days crying but one day he has an idea. He is going to have a battle with the god of the underworld to have the attention of all his family.

So one day he prepares his bag to go to the underworld and Zeus sees him but he doesn’t do anything.

Zeus lies to his father saying that Hades is going to buy something.

Hades fights the god of the underworld but Hades can’t defeat him.

After hours of fight Hades loses the battle, so he is locked in the underworld. Hades is sad, he knows that someone is going to help him but he doesn’t want to stay with his family.

Chronos receives a letter from the god of the underworld. He tells Chronos about the fight so Chronos forces Zeus to help his brother.

Zeus talks to the god of the underworld, and the god says that his brother is going to be alive if he stays there for eternity.

Zeus goes home and he tells everything to Chronos, so he punishes him.

-Zeus, you didn'´t obey me so you can’t go to the world of the humans.

Zeus is sad. He visits his brother every day but one day he asks him why he fought.

Hades answers:

You had all the attention of the family so I wanted to have a little bit of attention too.

Zeus starts to cry:

-Sorry brother, I’m going to visit you every day.

Hades is angry and he does horrible things to take revenge.

The first days nobody knows who is doing the horrible things but one day when Hades goes to kill someone Helios sees him. He sees what Hades is doing and he tells Chronos, but first he talks to Hades:

-Hi Hades, what are you doing here?

You can’t leave the underworld. I’m going to tell Chronos.

Hades is scared, he takes Helios and he carries him to the underworld.

But that is the plan of Helios. He sends a bird with a message to Chronos and finally, Chronos and Rea, his wife, read it.

Chronos and Rea are very angry so they fight to stop Hades and to rescue Helios.

The battle lasts for days and one day they win so they punish Hades and they make of the underworld a horrible place. They remove the colour of the underworld and they make it a dark place. Hades says sorry to all the people of the underworld but they are angry with him.

That is the story of how Hades becomes the most hated god and how the underworld becomes a terrible place.

Since that day Chronos forgives Zeus and all the people live happily except Hades.
