Katherine sits idly by the dinner table watching her mother as she cooks dinner.

Her father walks in and start to set the table while her mother finishes up the last touches.

Her mom sets the food on the table and once Katherine realizes what one of the dishes are, she throws a fit.

"EEEEW, I hate broccoli!" Katherine shrieks.

"We know Katherine, but it's what's gonna make you strong and keep you healthy." says her mother.

"I'm not eating it." Katherine replies stubbornly.

"John tell you're daughter that she needs to eat them." Her mother looks towards her father for help.

"Katherine if you do not eat all of your vegetables, then you don't get a bedtime snack." Her father tells her.

"I don't care! I'm not eating it." Katherine continues to say.

"Then off to bed you go." Her mother stands from the table and walks Katherine upstairs to her room and tucks her into bed.

Katherine rolls over and closes her eyes pretending to be asleep until her mother turns the light off and closes the door.

Once she realizes that her mother is back downstairs she jumps out of the bed and rushes straight to her closet to retrieve a box.

She carries the box back to her bed and lifts the lid reveling a stash of snacks that she hids from her parents.

By the time she get's tired her face and fingers are covered in chocolate and the wrappers are scattered all over her bed.

She quickly cleans it up and before she falls asleep and her parents find out.

The next morning her mother comes in to wake her up for school and quickly calls for her father.

"Do you think we need to call a doctor?" Her father asks.

"John look at her! Of course we need to call a doctor and he's already on his way, I called the second I saw her."

The doorbell rings and her mother rushes downstairs and allows the doctor to come in and check on Katherine.

"Oh I haven't seen one of these cases in a long time." The doctor sets his bag down on the nightstand next to Katherine's bed.
