DAMLA'NIN FARKINDALIK GÜNÜ

Damla 5. sınıf öğrencisiydi. Akşamleyin ders çalışırken annesi Damla’ya akşam yemeğini haber vermek için seslendi.Damla odanın ışığını kapatmadan akşam yemeği için mutfağa gitti.Annesi odasının ışığını açık görünce Damla’ya kızdı.Damla bu duruma aldırış etmeden yatmadan önce dişlerini fırçaladı ve odasının ışığını kapatmadan uyudu.

Ertesi gün,Damla güneş ışığının odasına yansımasından lambanın açık olduğunu fark etmedi.Arkadaşları çağırınca aceleyle arkadaşlarının yanına, parka, gitti.

Bir süre sonra Damla yoruldu ve ağacın altına oturdu.Otururken etrafta “Enerji Tasarrufu” ile ilgili broşür dağıtan ablaları gördü.Damla heyecanla ablaların yanına koştu:

- ”Merhaba! Ben, Damla bana da broşürlerden  verebilir misiniz?”dedi.Ablalardan birisi :

  -” Tabii ki de alabilirsin tatlı kız.” dedi ve Damla’nın eline broşürlerden verdi.

Damla : “ Enerji tasarrufu ile ilgili neler yapabiliriz’’ diye soru sordu.

Ablalar Damla’nın sorusuna aynı anda cevap verdiler:

-”Tatlı kız,  sana bu kuralları söylersek belki de sen bu kuralları uygulamazsın. Bu nedenle  sen bu konuyu araştır ve ailenle bu konu hakkında sohbet et.”

Damla:”Tamam teşekkür ederim”dedi ve evinin yolunu tuttu.

Eve geldiğinde odanın  ışığının yanık olduğunu fark etti.Hemen odanın ışığını kapattı.Bilgisayardan enerji tasarrufu konusunu araştırmaya başladı.Annesi ve babası Damla’yı salona çağırdı.Babası”Yavrum!”diye söze başladı ve devam etti:

- “Bu faturanın bu kadar fazla gelmesinin sebebi nedir,anlat bakalım.” dedi.Damla:

-Babacığım her şey benim suçum ,faturanın bu kadar fazla gelmesinin sebebi, benim elektriği boşa harcayacak davranışta bulunmamdı. Ama artık böyle bir hata yapmayacağım,hatamın farkına vardım.”dedi.Babası ve annesi fatura ne kadar fazla gelse de kızmamışlar  ve Damla’yı tebrik etmişler. Damla her zamanki gibi odasına yatmaya gitmiş ve bu sefer odanın ışığını kapatmayı unutmamış.

Pazartesi günü ise 

okula gitmiş.Okula gelen enerji mühendislerini görünce çok mutlu olmuş.Enerji mühendislerinin okulda “Enerji Tasarrufu “hakkında bilgi verdikleri seminerde  kendi başından geçen olayı anlatmış.Bu olay hem onun hem de onu dinleyen öğrenciler için güzel bir sonuç olmuş farkındalık açısından.Bundan sonra da kendi kendine enerjiyi israf etmeme konusunda söz vermiş.

Save Your Energy!

Naz was a 6th grader. She was a smart girl. One day, her English teacher talked about energy savings . Miss Yıldız mentioned them how precious waste energy was. Then they decided to raise awareness at school with her close friends Mert, Bekir and Seda together. They prepared leaflets about energy saving  and then  handed them out to their parents and their friends at school .

Naz ;

-I was sleeping without turning off the computer. I forgot to turn out the lights when I left the kitchen. I  don’t know what I did was wrong.

Seda;

- Who knows ,how many tons of water I wasted on not turning off the tap while  I was brushing my teeth

Bekir

-  Now we know what's right. It's time to change our lives, our behavior,  my dear friends.

Their teacher was so happy to hear them talk.

-    We can make mistakes. The important thing is to be aware and change . You have learned now , tell your family and friends about the importance of energy saving.

Since then, the children have become more careful. They warned their friends and their families about energy saving . They said that ‘save your energy, enlighten your future’

On Wednesday,we drew pictures about energy saving.Our teacher talked about the importance of energy saving.I promised myself I will never waste energy.

Next morning,I woke up and went to my sister's room.But Banu,my sister,left the lamp open.I couldn't understand it.

So asked my sister when she woke up why she left the lamp open.Banu said that:

-I am short and I can't switch off it.

Ceren went to her mother and said:

-Mum,Banu can't reach the switch so she can't switch off the lamp.What can we do about it?It wastes too much energy all night while she is sleeping.

Her mother thougt and decided to buy a little chair for Banu.With the help of this little chair, Banu could manage to reach the switch and off it before sleeping.And she thanked me that I solved her problem.I was an energy saving member at home after that....

Hüseyin was old.Nadya was helpful.Hüseyin couldnt walk .One day nadya saw hüseyins house .she knocked the door and there was no answer then they called locksmith and then opened the door they saw the lights were on ,immediately they turned off the lights they realized the taps were open Nadya called electric engineer Yunus had them watch documentaries about energy saving then they talked about how to use energy wisely then Hüseyin decided to use energy wisely.

Bir Tek Benimle Mi Olacak?

Ece, gece evine giderken komşularının ışığını açık gördü oysa bu saatlerde uyuduklarını biliyordu ve yürümeye devam etti. Sonra da karşı binadaki mağazada boş yere yanan ışıkları gördü. Ece boş yere harcanan enerjiyi düşünmüş ve bu durumdan çok rahatsız olmuştu.                    

Ertesi gün arkadaşı Betül ile konuşarak ona bazı fikirleri olduğunu söylemiş. Enerji tasarrufu ile ilgili proje yapmaya ve “Bir tek benim yaptığım tasarruf ile mi doğa kurtulacak?” gibi düşünceleri yıkmak istediklerine karar vermişler. Ama bunun için fedakarlık yaparak bu projeye zaman ayırmaları gerekiyordu. Öğretmenleri Gülçin Hanım duyarlılıkları, proje ile ilgili düşünceleri ve fedakarlıklarından çok etkilenmiş ve onlarla gurur duymuş. Kendisi de onlara her türlü yardımı yapacakmış. Yardımlaşarak ve işbirliği içinde çalışmaya karar vermişler.

Ece ve Betül, enerji elde edilirken santraller doğayı kirlettikleri ve yok ettikleri için sudan tasarruf, ağaç dikimi tarzında kampanyalar düzenlemek istemişler. Böylece doğaya ve kendilerine yardım etmiş olacaklardı. Betül ve Ece öncelikle kendi evlerinde kendi aileleriyle tasarruf yapmaya başlamışlar. Mahallede komşularına broşürler dağıtarak, sunumlar yaparak, yaşlıların evlerine gidip onların nelere dikkat etmeleri gerektiğini yardım ederek anlatmışlardı. Okul için sunum hazırlamışlar arkadaşlarına yapılacaklarla ilgili 

bilgi vermişler. Arkadaşlarından fedakarlık yaparak kendilerine yardımcı olmalarını,  ailelerine ve tüm çevrelerine de konuyu anlatmalarını istemişler. Öğretmenleri Gülçin Hanım ağaç dikme projesi için Tema ile konuşmuş ve okul öğrencileri gidip ağaç dikmişler. Gülçin Hanım öğrencilere resim yaptırarak, hikâye yazdırarak, oyunlar oynatarak niçin enerji tasarrufu yapmaları gerektiğini göstermiş.

Ece ile Betül başlattıkları bu projede iki kişi başlayıp yüzlerce kişinin enerji tasarrufu yapmalarını sağladıklarını biliyorlarmış çünkü,   insanlara örnek olmuşlar onları yapacakları konusunda bilinçlendirmişlerdi. Boşuna denmemişti “Bir elin nesi var, iki elin sesi var.” diye. Okulda çoğu öğrenci evinde enerji tasarrufu yapmış. Okulları da hem sudan hem enerjiden tasarruf yapmaya başlamıştı. Çok mutluydular. Kendilerinin ve arkadaşlarının fedakarlıkları ile arkadaşlarının, öğretmenlerinin de yardımlarıyla, enerji tasarrufu konusunda farkındalık oluşturarak dünyamıza çok yararlı bir proje yapmışlardı.

ENERJİ TASARRUFUNA FARKINDALIK OLUŞTURMAK İÇİN SEÇİLEN HİKAYEMİZ

Yarışma Gerçek Olursa

Sevgi öğretmen bir gün sınıfa gelip.

-         

 Çocuklar size bir duyurum olacak. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı bir yarışma düzenliyor.Bütün okulları enerji tasarrufuna çağırıyor .Kazanan okuluda güzel bir kampa gönderecekmiş.

Bütün sınıf şaşırmıştık ilk kez böyle bir yarışma duymuştuk .Sevgi öğretmen yarışmanın kurallarını bir bir okudu. Neler yapmamız gerektiğini bize anlattı.Artık sınıf olarak karar verdik çok tutumlu çocuklar olacaktık .

Artık nerede boşa yanan bir ışık görsek kapatıyor gereksiz yere suları boşa akıtmıyorduk .Böylelikle bir hafta geçti .Biz o kadar kendimizi kaptırdık ki.Derste bile doğal gazı kapatıyorduk Bu duruma öğretmenimiz çok kızdı ve yarışmadan çekildiğimizi söyledi .Biz bu duruma çok üzüldük. Yarışmayı kazanıp kampa gitmeyi çok istiyorduk.. Biz arkadaşlarla yine her şeye devam ettik. Enerji tasarrufunu sadece yarışma için değil geleceğimiz içinde gerekli olduğunu anladık.Biz artık yarışma için değil kendimiz için tasarruf yapıyorduk.  Bir gün dersteyken Müdür Bey geldi ve yarışmanın sonucunu açıkladı.Bizim okul kazanmıştı biz çok şaşırdık çünkü yarışmadan çekildiğimizi biliyorduk .

Öğretmenimiz bize bakıp güldü biz de öğretmenimize sarıldık ve birlikten kuvvet doğar sözünü bir kez daha yaşadık ve öğretmenimize böyle çocuklar olacağız diye söz verdik.

Merhabalar ben Mert.Size başımdan geçen bir olayı anlatacağım.

Bir gün sabah satlerinde televizyonda şu haberi gördüm."Enerji Bitiyor!" Şaşırmıştım ve bir şey yapmalıydım. Bizim evimizde pek enerji kullanılmazdı.Bu nedenle Hakkı Beylere gittim.Kapıyı nazikçe çaldım ve açtı.Onların evinde gereksiz kullanılan birçok elektronik eşya vardı.

Hakkı Bey'e : Ne yapıyorsunuz? Bu ışıkları ve gereksiz kullanılan elektronik eşyaları kapatırsanız devlet için fedakarlık yapmış olursunuz,dedim.Sonra bütün mahhaleyi gezmeye başladım ve gereksiz yere elektrik kullananları uyardım.Böylelikle daha az elektrik kullanarak tüm mahalle olarak ülkemize büyük bir fadakarlık yapmış olduk.

Yaklaşık bir ay sonra gelen elektirik faturalarında gözle görülür bir azalma oldu.Bu beni çok mutlu etti.Şimdi mahellelimiz daha fedakar, daha mutlu.

Sonuç olarak tüm ülke olarak fedakarlık yaparak enerjimizi tasarruflu kullanmalıyız.

IMPORTANCE OF WATER

Our water is decreasing day by day and that’s what I am going to tell you.

One day, a child brushes his teeth before going to sleep last night and waste water while brushing his teeth. When he wakes up in the morning, he notices that he water stops running. After breakfast, his father says he will bring some water from the supermarket. During this time, the child is thirsty. When he brushes his teeth, it comes to his mind.

And he promises to himself that he’ll no longer waste water. I think we can deduce the importance of water from this story. Our sources of water in the world are decreasing and we have to think about the future of our generations. We can only use %2 of the world’s water. In recent years, with the effect of global warming, our water rate is decreasing. Here comes water saving. That’s why we need to pay attention to water.

Aysu elektrik enerjisindən düzgün istifadə etməli olduğunu anladı...

Qışın en sert, şaxtalı günlerindən biri idi. Dersden gelib yorğun halda oturmuş Aysu çantasını otaqda qoyub aşağıya endi. Valideynleri süfre arxasında eylşmişdi. O da ailesi ile birlikde nahar etmeye başladı.

Bu günkü derslerden söz açdı. Mektebde yeni şeyler öyrendiyini, gününün çox maraqlı keçdiyini söyledi.

Nahardan sonra yorğun olduğu üçün bir az dinceldi. Axşam saatlarında derslerini hazırlamaq üçün otağına çekildi. Bu vaxt işıqlar söndü. Anası onun otağına şam yandıraraq getirdi. Lakin şam işığında ders oxumaq heç de asan deyilmiş...

Aysu fikirleşdi ki, keçmişde elektrik enerjisi olmadığı üçün insanlar nece çetinlik çekibler. Bu gün elektrik enerjisi ile işleyen texnologiyalar insanların heyatını daha da asanlaşdırır. Mektebde Enerjiye qenaetle bağlı keçirdikleri tedbir yadına düşdü.

Həmin vaxt onlar müllimleri ile birlikde enerjiden düzgün istifade ile bağlı şekillər çekmiş, broşuralar paylamış, hetta bu barede seminar da teşkil etmişdilər. Onda öyrendi ki, elektrik enerjisindn düzgün istfade olunmasa, enerji tükene biler. Ona göre də enerjidən qənatlə istifade etmek lazımdır.

Ahmet ve ailesi soğuk bir kış gününde evlerinde

otururken doğalgazları kesilir.Ne olduğunu anlayamayan Ahmet'in babası yetkililere durumu söyler.Yetkililer şöyle açıklama yaparlar:

''Doğalgaz çok tutumsuz kullanılıyor ve elimizdeki doğalgaz rezervi tükeniyor.''diyorlar.

Doğalgaz olmadığı için Ahmet ve ailesi evlerini ısıtamz hale geliyorlar.Akşam olunca Ahmet ailesine:

''Bundan sonra doğalgazı tasarruflu kullanalım ve bu konuda insanları uyaralım.''der.Ailesi bunu kabul eder ve Ahmet'in dediklerini yapmaya başlarlar.Ve sonrasında herkes doğalgası dikkatli kullanmaya başlar.

AYŞE'NİN MUTLULUĞU

Ayşe,oturma odasında televizyon seyrederken babası elektrik faturası ile eve geldi.Bu hafta elektrik faturası normalinden çok fazla gelmiştir.Baba,ev halkını toplayarak elektrik tasarrufunu nasıl yapacakları ile ilgili önerilerde bulundu.

      Elektrik enerjisinin üretilirken nelere sebep olduğunu anlatan Cemal Bey,aynı zamanda aile bütçesine olan zararından da bahsetti.Bir süre ekstra istedikleri ihtiyaçları alma konusunu erteleyeceğini söyleyen Cemal Bey ay sonuna kadar evde bir yarış başlattı.Herkes elektrik tasarrufu konusunda üzerine düşeni yapacağını söyledi.Cemal Bey de faturayı ödeyebilmek için bu ay daha çok çalışması gerektiğini,ailesine daha az zaman ayırabileceğini söyledi.Bütçeyi aştıkları için bazı özel istekleri erteleyeceklerini söyledi.

Aylardır kendine söz verilen oyuncağın hayalini kuran Ayşe itiraz ederek :

_’’Baba ,bana oyuncak alacaktın.’’der.

Baba:

_’’Faturaları ödemek zorundayız.Yoksa elektriğimizi keserler ve karanlıkta kalırız.’’ der.

           Evde herkes bundan sonra elektriği boş yere harcamayacağına dair söz verir.

         Aradan haftalar geçer,fatura günü tekrar gelir.Bu sefer elektrik faturasının olduğundan çok daha az gelir.Artık Ayşe istediği oyuncağı alabileceğini düşünerek babasının yanına gider ve babası Ayşe’nin istediği bebekle eve gelmiştir.Ayşe çok mutlu olur.

         Ayşe ve ailesi bundan sonra elektriği israf etmemek gerektiğini,isterlerse bunu yapabileceklerini anlamış oldular ve etraflarındaki herkese örnek oldular.

  Sustainable sources of energy

Milica went to her mother and asked her:

-“Is there any way for me to help our planet?“  

-’’Yes, you could take care about energy.save it when you can and you should try to use sustainable sources of energy“.  

 ‘’What are the sustainable sources?’’, asked Milica.

-’’Well, those are sources that could be reused- like energy of wind, water or sun“.

-’’I learned in school that we could make wind turbines that could produce energy, but I am too young for that, I could make a small maket of that wind turbines“.

-’’How?“

Milica took a paper, made a wind mill out of it and then blow and moved it.

-’’See? And when I grow up, I will make real mill turbines“.

  Mom laughed and said:

“You are right“. But you could still save energy and recicle whenever you can’’

A BOY'S QUEST TO SAVE ENERGY”

I will tell you a story I read on a site about saving energy (www.saveonenergy.com). The story is named “A BOY'S QUEST TO SAVE ENERGY”. As one boy observes his family wasting energy throughout the day, he has some rather imaginative suggestions on what his mom and dad can do to help save the planet, the air, the trees — and a few empty calories.  

Here is the story:

“There was once a boy who learned in school saving energy is the right thing to do. It's good for the planet, the air and the trees, and good for his family, too.

He watched his mom and watched his dad through a regular day's routine. He thought of many things his family could change, to be a little more green.

The morning begins by brushing teeth with an electric toothbrush machine. We could use sandpaper instead, he thought, to keep our pearly whites clean.

Mommy makes her frizzy hair go straight with a plugged-in, hot iron tool. We could shave our heads instead, he thought. Saving electricity is cool!

Daddy takes the elevator at work from the first to the second floor. Better to take the stairs instead, he thought. Daddy could stand to lose a pound — or four.

Mommy loads the dishwasher with just a plate. And turns it up to full power. Maybe that's not such a great idea, he thought. Why not make it a twofer? Bring the dishes into the shower!

Daddy waits for lunch from the car at a greasy fast-food drive-thru. Dad should bring a salad to work, he thought. It'll save time, energy and — like, seriously — he could afford to lose a few.

Mommy drinks water all day long from plastic bottles she buys at the store. Mommy could drink from her wine glass instead, he thought. She seems to like that much more.

Daddy comes home from a long day of work and sits down to watch TV. At least he's saving his own energy, he thought. But I wish he'd spend more time with me.

Mommy makes dinner every night. The stove and oven are powered by gas. Why not use the microwave instead? he thought. After all, her meatloaf always tastes like ...worms.

The boy heads up to bed and waits to get tucked in. He is ready to start counting his sheep, but before Mommy leaves, he decides to pipe up: "The toothbrush, the hair straightener, the elevator, the water bottle, the car, the washer, the TV, the oven — how do you people sleep?!"

Mommy remembers the planet, the air and the trees. She turns and says through the doorway: "You're right, honey. We use a ton of energy. Tomorrow we'll do things your way."

The end.”

I liked the story very much because it is funny and also educational.

Safe energy-safe money

We all like to do our bit for the environment. We recycle, use kitchen waste to make compost, use reusable shopping bags, etc. These are all done in an attempt to decrease the usage of our planet’s resources and to reduce pollution. However, there might be more than you can do without even setting foot out of your home. When it comes to energy consumption, temperature regulation is one of the highest costs. We heat our homes in winter and cool them in summer. Keeping that much air at an even temperature requires a fair amount of electricity. This energy requirement increases significantly if the home is not properly insulated. It’s simple – the more gaps there are in the home’s outside, the more chance there is of energy escaping.

A school, whether it’s primary school, polytechnic or a university, can use up a lot of energy during the day. From air conditioner to lighting in the building; a school that is running 8-10 hours a day can prove to be a huge consumer of energy and thus; a high overhead to maintain.

So here are the 5 ways to save energy at school

1. Replace inefficient lighting fixtures

In school facilities we most commonly find fluorescent tube lighting being used in the hallways, classrooms, and really anywhere with lower ceilings that are flat.

By switching from fluorescent to LED, you will be able to reduce the energy usage up to 80%. As you know that LED technology is by far the most efficient luminaire on the market today.

2. Installing sensors type LED

Some areas of your school may not be in use at all times where the lights would be on otherwise (such as hallways). By installing sensors type LED which turn on when there is movement, you will be able to have lights be on only when the area is needed.

3. Promote usage of natural light

A lot of classes happen during broad daylight and by opening blinds and let the natural light fill the room, you can reduce the amount of lights you need on by nearly half, depending on the day and time of year.

Students might not be aware about saving energy and the benefits. So it’s up to you to ensure you put things into place to make it easier for them to take part in energy saving.

4. Use solar panel and make energy

Solar panel is common nowadays and it’s a great way to reduce your energy consumption levels so much that you may even be able to generate power through solar panel.

The investment in solar technology can be pricey, but by doing it you will be a role model to the community by showcasing what conserving energy can do when use with solar energy technology. Let solar generate your building a positive ROI all while conversing the planets resources.

5. Make sure everyone aware about saving energy

When you have all of the technology in the world, but everyone doesn’t aware about saving energy, it will be a great waste of energy in your school. So make sure an email goes out to every staff member and students stating there is a new initiative in energy reduction on school. This will make a lot of people listen and be more aware to turn off the light next time when they leave a room.
