I dedicate this book to my family. Thank you for helping me get to this point in my life and for all the support you have given me throughout the years.

A - Airsoft
Running, jumping, dodging, dipping, diving. The constant threat of being shot looms over my head. Peeking over my cover, I spot my enemy.
*Bang* *Bang* I sent two BBs his way.
“Hit!” he yells from the other end of the field. Fast. Quick. Clean.

B - Board Games
Competitive is an understatement when describing me. Board games are a way for me to fuel my competitive nature. While playing board games there is no holding back. My goal is to obliterate my opponent or get obliterated in the process.

C - Christian Carper
Mr. Carper is a huge part of my support system. He was there for me whenever I needed to get worries off of my chest. He was there for me when I was at my lowest, lifting me up any way he could. He has been a kind heart and wise mind for me to turn to in times of distress. I am forever indebted to him for all he has done for me and I can’t imagine where I would be without him. All I can say is: thank you.

Death consumes all.
D - Death

Ever since I was a drooling baby I have adored elephants. Everything from their walk to their bathing methods is so majestic and unique. They have thick, rough, gray skin that is covered in thousands of little hairs. Their ears are big, like kitty pool big, that catch all noises. Elephant fun fact: when elephants look at humans the same part of their brain lights up as when a human looks at a puppy. This means elephants think we are cute.
E - Elephants

Fox was the first dog I ever had. Weird name I know, but I didn’t pick it, my sister did. Fox was a golden retriever, which meant that he had a thick and lucious coat of gold hair with a hint of red. I loved the feel of his sleek coat sliding through my fingers so much that I would often find myself doing it without thinking.
F - Fox

Lord of the rings is my favorite fantasy world. Men, Elves, and Dwarves band together to combat against droves of filthy mutated Orcs, gargantuan Trolls, and skilled Uruk-hai thrills me to no end. My favorite character from this masterpiece of a world is none other than Gandalf, Gandalf the Grey. Gandalf is one of the best wizards in the third age. He has a majestic flowing beard that I'm sure is knotted, and reeks of smoke residue because of how often he smokes his pipe, but he is a very fun, loving, and trustworthy character, so I let it be. He is also later reincarnated as Gandalf the White and becomes even more powerful.
This, among a plethora or different reasons, is why a
hobbit was able to defeat the dark lord Sauron.
G - Gandalf

Hercules, or Heracles in Greek mythology, is my favorite demigod from mythology. His life kind of starts out rough but through hard work and determination, he makes it through and becomes a legend. The story goes that Hercules, blinded by the rage that Hera induced, unwillingly killed his wife, Megara, and their five children. Overcome by grief he sought out Apollo for the advice of atonement. Apollo told him that he would have to serve the Mycenaen king Eurystheus and complete 12 nearly impossible labors. Those 12 labors were:
Slay the Nemean Lion, Slay the Lernean Hydra, Capture the
Golden Hind, Capture the Erymanthian Boar, Clean the Stables
of King Augeas, Defeat the Stymphalian Birds, Capture the
Cretan Bull, Bring Back the Mares of Diomedes, Obtain the Belt
of Hippolyta, Obtain the Cattle of Geryon, Bring the Golden
Apples of Hesperides, and Capture Cerberus.
H - Hercules

Home of dirt, corn, pigs, and some pig-headed people, but this state is my home. It is mostly rural, which is the ideal setting for me, and the people here are generally very nice. I don’t want to leave and I don’t think I ever will.
I - Iowa

John Deere was a big part of my early life. My
dad had mostly John Deere tractors, a John
Deere combine, and lot’s of John Deere farming
supplies. The belt I wore to keep my pants on while I worked was John Deere. The knife I kept in my work jeans is John Deere. Whenever I helped my dad out around the farm I usually used a John Deere tractor. In fact, the first tractor I ever drove was a John Deere. But an era has passed with my dad. The tractors have been sold, the belt has broken, and the knife is dull. Such is life.
J - John Deere

The first dirt bike I learned to drive was a 110 four-stroke Kawasaki dirt bike. We still have it and keep it around for nostalgia. Biking was a big part of my life before the universe decided to spit in my face. I love to ride dirt bikes, and I miss it so much. I miss the smells. I miss the feeling. I miss the noise they make.
K - Kawasaki

Luna is my little dog. She is a Boston Terrier and is the sweetest thing ever. She has the nicest demeanor and loves everybody, but people are scared of her. I think it is because she kind of looks like a pit bull puppy, but she would never hurt anyone. I really wish that people wouldn’t judge her because she looks mean when in reality she isn’t, because she just wants to meet people.
L - Luna

Magic The Gathering - Magic The Gathering has changed my life. It is a
card game that calls for strategy, flexibility, and just general knowledge. I have sunk many hours and way too much money into this game and I don’t think I’ll ever stop. I started ten years ago, but the only people I played with were a couple of guys at recess and I’m pretty sure we didn’t know how to play the game right. I took a break because it wasn’t appealing to me at the time, but that changed. When I started high school I heard of a magic club and I was intrigued. I wondered what it would be like to play since I hadn’t played in a while. I was a little hesitant because I am not a super social person, but I had a blast. I went every time they met and I even played outside of the club with my friends. I have learned many things from Magic. Some are transferable to life and others are just for fun.
M - Magic The Gathering

Nighttime is my favorite part of the day. Everyone is asleep, and it seems as if a hush has fallen over the land. The stars shine bright in the sky, standing out against the pitch black void of space. It is cold too, no matter the time of year. The cold is my friend, it snaps me awake, and, if i’m curled up under warm blankets, it lulls me to sleep.

A few years ago my dad bought a beat-up 1969 ford pickup from our neighbor. When we got it the thing wouldn’t even start, so we had to push it with a skid steer. When we got to the shop and opened it up it reeked of mouse droppings and must. I opened the glove compartment and found a big mouse nest and cleaned it out. We got the truck to run in about twenty minutes of us messing with it, and it purred. I have had so many great memories with that truck. I spun donuts in the field, I sprayed mud across waterways, and I even hauled some junk around. My dad said the reason he got the truck was so I could practice my welding skills, but I know that he bought it so that we could spend more time together.
O - Old Ford

Padme is my cat. She was named after Padme in Star Wars because Leia sounded dumb. She is the best cat I have ever owned. She is super friendly and she spends a lot of time with me. She wakes me up in the morning and loafs around with me on the couch. She lets me hug her when I am sad, and she lets me play with her when I am happy. I love her so much.
P - Padme
