that is...until the pitcher plant was caught just because he and his algae & plant friends (A.K.A. the photoautotrophs) are the only living things capable of creating sugars as well as air stuffs (oxygen) from other air stuffs (carbon dioxide) & water with the help of the sUn (this sequence/description of events is known as.... photosynthesis)

It was the gathering of the most powerful pokemans.. Night was soon to fall and the pitcher plant was doomed... although it seems pretty light outdoor in the background....

And as the elites used their pokemans magics, the carbon dioxide in the air was pushed towards the pitcher. The sun's energies were directed around it. And the water in the air began to be pushed into the lifeless plant's mini building blocks known as the chloroplasts hidden deep within...

Before the pitcher plant had a chance to react, the reactants from the came together and created the products necessary to support its life. And wIth a flash of light, the plant had undergone.... photosynthesis

And with a cloud of oxygen, the plant had made the sugars(glucose) it needed to be reborn.

IF I DID NOT HAVE THIS oXyGEn i WOULD suffocate and STARVE (depending on choice of dietary factors that seems obligatory but really isnt...)
