I want to dedicate this book to my science teacher,Mrs. Terry, who helped me understand the forces included in this book.

Once upon a time, there were three princesses who were ready to find princes to marry and rule a kingdom with.

2
So they all went their separate ways in search of a prince.

The princesses decided to travel to different islands to find their prince. They had to make boats that would float themselves because there were not many
boatwrights, or people who make boats, nearby.

The first princess decided to chart a course for an island called Juju. She worked quickly, because she wanted to become a queen before
her friends. She should have been more careful though, because her
boat sank! It was too heavy, and their were holes in it! Both gravity
and bouyancy were acting on the boat, but gravity was the stronger force. It was unbalanced!
Although not all was bad, because the kind and beautiful mermaid,
Taylor Swift, saved the gracious princess.

The second princess made a beautiful speedboat, which was perfect transportation, until she reached an evil sea witch near the shores of Pate Island. A witch guarded the sandbar,
stopping the princess in her tracks. The sea witch didn't say a word, but stirred the water with a
large lightening bolt in her hand. A whirlpool appeared, and it was as if the witch had vanished
into thin air. The princess' boat began spinning faster and faster, and the whirlpool exerted a
centripetal force on the girl's boat, causing it to move to the center of the whirlpool. But just as
the princess braced herself to be sucked into the whirlpool, the dashing and charming merman,
Harry Styles, swam up and pushed the boat out, causing it to shoot straight forward, instead of
moving in circles while exiting the whirlpool.

Meanwhile, the third princess was having troubles of her own. She had spent many days on her ship, and she was quite proud of it. Of course, she knew nothing about working on boats of its size, so she
hired a captain and a crew to help out. Her captain was always thirsty, so she gave him water on the
trip quite frequently. He was a bit clumsy, and had spilled some water on the deck, which one of the
crew members tried to sweep away. Well, long story short, the broom pushed around the water,
causing a decrease in friction on the deck. As the princess stepped daintily towards the captain to
ask about the status of their journey, she slipped on the water due to the small amount of friction!

The princesses realized that they couldn't complete their journey alone, so they each traveled to the small island of Utopia. Little did they know that they'd meet up there! Once they'd caught up with each
other, they set off through the small coastal town, heading for the small village a few miles away.

The princesses were about halfway to the village when they came to a pond. They couldn't go aroundit, so they came to the conclusion that they had to go through it!

As the princesses swam through the pond, they didn't sink. Unlike what happened to the firstprincess' boat, bouyancy was the force stronger than gravity because the pond was
connected to a canal leading to the ocean, and the water was very salty, which caused the girls
to float easily.

As the princesses walked, they came to a forest of palm trees. In the way of the sat three enormous rocks. The third princess decided to try to push them out of
the way, but it was no use. The forces were balanced, and the rocks weren't budging!

PushFrictionWhen the princesses all worked together, the rocks moved out of the way, and they entered the village.
