Peyton

Lilly
One day, Lilly went to Peyton’s house. They ate mac and cheese for lunch, then decided to play a game. They chose Candyland.
“Candyland is my favorite,” Peyton told Lilly.

They set their pieces on the start box. When Peyton went to pick her card the game became real. They found themselves in a world made of candy and sweets. They decided to keep playing the game to see what happened.

Peyton drew the first card. It was a red orange. She moved her spaces. Then, Lilly drew the gingerbread card. This was their first special card. They moved forward to the gingerbread space where they met Plumpy from the gingerbread plum trees.
“Hi, I’m Plumpy.” He told them.

Plumpy went into his bag and pulled out a book.
“That’s Fancy Nancy. She’s my favorite,” Peyton exclaimed. Together the three of them laughed and had fun while reading their favorite Fancy Nancy. Plumpy gave them the book as they all waved goodbye. Plumpy handed them each a bag.

When Peyton’s turn came around again she drew the gumdrop card. Peyton and Lilly were excited to see the white fluffy snow. They saw Jolly in the Peppermint Forest.
“Oh sugarplum, my new Sugar TV is too heavy to carry by myself, will you girls help me?” Jolly asked.
“Of course,” The girls replied. After they moved the TV and set it up Jolly said, “Do you girls want to watch My Little Pony? I’m on the fourth episode.”

“I love My Little Pony,” Lilly said. They all sat and watched My Little Pony. They laughed at the scene when Spike tripped.
“Thanks for helping. Have fun in Candyland.” Jolly announced as they all said goodbye. He put a candy cane in each of their bags.

When Peyton was halfway through her turn Lord Licorice appeared. He stole their crowns and ran into the trees. Peyton and Lilly were shocked. They had no idea what to do.

Peyton and Lilly were upset about their crowns. They found the peanut card, which led them to Grandma Nutt at the Peanut Bristle House.
“Lord Licorice stole our crowns," Peyton announced.
“Oh dear, only the Candy King can solve that," Grandma Nut replied. “Who’s that?” Lilly asked in an upbeat tone.
“Well he’s the King of Candyland. Once you get to the end of the path, you’ll surely find him,” Grandma Nutt said. “Best be on your way.”

Grandma Nut handed them some chocolate chip cookies as they drew their next cards. They strolled past the beautiful lollipop trees. Not realizing it, they wandered into the Lollipop Woods.

“Hey there, I was just trying my new magic spell, care to try?” Princess Lolly asked.
“Sure,” Peyton replied, “What does it do?”
“You’ll see,” Princess Lolly responded.
Within seconds, Peyton and Lilly were surrounded by shimmering sparkles. Water appeared below them. They fell in the water and realized they had tails. They were mermaids!
