Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration Project

Once upon a time, in a ancient land...
There was two flowers named Lizzy and Alex. Lizzy was very advanced in her school and she was very curious of how Photosynthesis and Celluar Respiration worked. Her teacher, Mr. Alex decided to take Lizzy to a field trip to learn about plants.
The two flowers were eager on their adventure!
Lizzy and Mr. Alex took a bus to travel to Plant Island.
They have finally made it to Plant Island. When they got there Lizzy asked a bunch of questions to Mr. Alex like "where we get our food?", "how does it work?", "why does it work?" "what is this called?" Mr. Alex said, "I'll answer your questions by one by one. " Mr. Alex began explaining. Let's start with our food that's an interesting topic. We plants use photosynthesis to capture energy from the sun to make sugar. "Sugar?" Lizzy asked. "Yes Lizzy, sugar. I'll explain." Mr. Alex replied.
Lizzy and Mr. Alex decided to look at the atmosphere. "These are light reactions we touched on!" Mr. Alex said. "What do they do though?" Lizzy asked. Mr. Alex told Lizzy that the light reactions capture energy from sunlight and so water is processed and broken down while oxygen or air is released. "But what about the dark reactions?" Lizzy asked. "The dark reactions are reactions that use energy from the light reactions to make those sugars we were talking about." Mr. Alex replied. "It makes sense now!" Lizzy replied
"Where are we now?" Lizzy asked. "We are in the Plant Jungle!" Mr. Alex replied. "Now that we talked about photosynthesis, it's time to go across the chemical equation to the cellular respiration side!"
"I'm so excited!" Lizzy replied.
"Alright! Cellular respiration releases chemical energy from sugars and other molecules to make a compound called Adensince Triphospate also known as ATP. Come on, I'll show you more!" Mr. Alex replied.
