Content Standards

American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL): 

Communication: Learners interact and negotiate meaning in spoken, signed, or written conversation

to share information, reactions, feelings, and opinions. 

Comparisons: Learners use the language to investigate, explain, and reflect on the nature of language through comparisons of the language studied and their own.

  Communities: Learners use the language both within and beyond the classroom to interact and collaborate in their community and the globalized world.

Cultures: Learners use the language to investigate, explain, and reflect on the relationship between the practices and perspectives of the cultures studied.

Connections: Learners build, reinforce, and expand their knowledge of other disciplines while using the language to develop critical thinking and to solve problems creatively.

Intermediate Range (IR) ML.C2.1.IR.a-h  d. Investigate, draw comparisons between, and explain the interaction of practices and perspectives of the cultures studied.

ISTE*S Standard 6. Creative Communicator: Students communicate clearly and express themselves creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and digital media appropriate to their goals.

6.C. Students communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively by creation or using a variety of digital objects such as visualizations, models or simulations.

D. After learning about different cultures, students will make a story making children of that country aware of environmental issues. Their mission is to help make children more aware of environmental issues using a fairytale. This also a way to do creative writing.
