One Friday, after Ms. Cerney had dismissed class, she gathered all of her supplies and walked right out the door- without Bob! “Come back” Bob yelled from his perch on the bookshelf. What would happen to him over the weekend without Ms. Cerney to water him? 

What would happen to his glorious hair?! Bob was WORRIED! Bob worried and worried about not getting water. Bob worried and worried about not getting any sunlight. THEN Bob started worrying about spiders. Creepy Crawly Spiders crawling all over his beautiful hair, and no hands to swat them away with!

Bob snuck a glance to right: no spiders. Bob snuck a glance to the left: no spiders there either. Maybe he could stay all weekend at the school. There were windows in the classroom so he could have sunlight. His hair might get a little wilty but it would be okay for a few days. The kids had just watered him today. Bob sighed. Everything was going to be okay. 

Just as Bob was resigning himself to staying for the weekend, her heard a BIG, DEEP voice, “Hello, there! Are you here for the weekend Arachna-Art Club?” Right there, in front of Bob was the biggest, hairiest spider Bob had ever seen- and he was wearing glasses! 

Bob closed his eyes. “Think happy trees! Think happy trees!” Bob whispered to himself under his breath. Maybe the spider would go away. “You’re pretty shy, huh? That’s okay. My name is Harry and I’m the Arachna-Art Club President. We are about to start constructing our Web-Art if you would like to watch. This week we are going to model our designs after a famous painter.” Bob still had his eyes closed but he heard Harry scuttle away. Then he heard the TV click on. “Welcome to Painting with Bob Ross” he heard the tv say. Bobs eyes peeked open. The spiders were gathered around the tv watching Bob Ross paint!?
