My story begins when i was on my way to school and I ran into my 3 best friend's who are Patricia, Rebecca, and Josie. Patricia has been my best friend since i was born, we do everything together. Rebecca is my other best friend, she's very smart and always helps me with school. Josie is the craziest, and funniest person i have ever met and i can always trust her with everything.

Bucket List

My friends and I have been working on completing everything on our bucket list that we made last year. Our last thing that we have to do is go explore an abandoned island. We planned on going to the abandoned island after school today since it was nice outside.

The entire day while i was at school i was super excited to finally complete our bucket list. My mom picked us four up after school and brought us to the boat landing where my dad was waiting for us. This was only going to be a 24 hour trip but it felt like we had enough supplies on the boat to last at least a few weeks.

Before we left my dad had a whole checklist ready to make sure we had everything.

He named everything off while my friends and i made sure we had it. After we had everything checked off we were ready to leave.

On our way to the island we were all having so much fun, we had the music all the way up and eating a lot of ice cream. Everything was going really great until we heard a big thud, which we thought was just from something heavy that fell on the ground.

About an hour later we found out that something had hit the boat and put a hole in it. water was trickling in the boat and none of us knew what to do. My dad tried patching up the hole while patricia was radioing someone to come help us. All she was getting was a bunch of static. Rebecca tried pumping water out of the boat while Josie and I used all the towels we had to soak up water.

Except for more water was coming in and we couldn't control it at all. The boat slowly started to go underwater, all of us started to panic. We were in the middle of the ocean, at least 3 or 4 hours from home and there was nothing around us. My dad told my friends and i to go find the life jackets and right when he said that he froze.

He had just now noticed that he forgot our life jackets at home. We had no idea what to do, actually there was nothing for us to do. About 30 minutes later the boat was almost completely underwater. We were standing on the very top of the boat just hoping something magical would happen.

Our feet started to touch the water and that's when we saw something coming straight for us! We all started screaming as loud as we could because we were about to get eating by a bunch of sharks, or at least that's what we thought.
