A true horror story: School at night
It was a regular school day, but I had to stay after school because I had detention. I had fallen asleep and my teacher woke me up because my detention finished.
I was headed out the door when something caught my eye. There was a little boy probably a first grader and he was staring at me. He said to me in a strange voice to come over. I wasn't really going to go over there and was suppose to get home soon, it was about 3:42p.m.
I was rushing out the front door when the little boy smiled, I was about to smile back, but what I saw terrified me.
His teeth were very big, sharp, but most of all, it was covered in a red stain, which looked like blood. I was sure that he was playing a prank.
I don't know why but I went over there. He to walk away. He was going down to the first floor and down to what seemed to look like a basement. I always wondered what was down there, however it was dark.
Then I thought for a moment, kids have been disappearing after school around this time.
Cameras have spotted kids going inside, and not coming out.
There was only one boy who came in and out, they thought he was the one leading them into the basement.
The principal had the school closed for a week, 2 officers and a janitor went down there to look and they found nothing, but they did here some strange laughs, one of the officers said they saw a boy and was scared and said he didn't want to go inside. We thought it was a joke, but when we heard that one of the officers disappeared, we were in shock and became quiet.
They said they heard the officer scream and a laugh of a little boy right after he disappeared. Said they all dropped there flashlights and ran as fast as they could.
After that, no one could go down there, there was a lot of school supplies, and smart boards, that were never used, and were going to be used in the future, but now it was worthless
I started going down the steps. I figured out that this first grader wasn't scared, so a fourth grader isn't either.
It was dark, I followed the boy and entered a room. When I saw what was in the room, I nearly screamed.
There was dead body's everywhere and I saw the officer's body, his stomach was cut open, someones head was chopped up. And there was body parts all over the place. I nearly vomited. I was about to run out the door, but the boy suddenly shut it. He pulled out a knife covered with blood, and smiled, but his smile to too happy and it didn't look like a smile anymore.
I yelled and said, "Back off". He came closer, so I pulled out my phone and said I was going to call the police, or my mom, or the school, because they would be closer.
When I saw that my phone was off I panicked. This was it I thought, I was going to die here. I screamed as loud as I could, thinking it would scare the boy.
An officer burst through the door shooting the boy 3 times, he fell to the ground and died. He looked at me and then around the room, he was quiet and scared. I started crying, he came over and said everything was going to be okay. He talked through his wakie-talkie, a few moments later more officers came and my mom and dad as well. The Principal was there, too. He looked tired and worried. He had a long chat with my parents. Then he told me that tomorrow I was going to stay home and go to the police station and talk about what happened.
I could sleep that night. When I woke up, I saw that my dad was there. I asked him if he was going to work and said no. I asked him why, and he said that the mayor talked to his boss and that he had to go as well.
When we arrived they asked me a lot of questions.
I told them everything. And I had a question as well.
How did the officer know or I was down here?
They told me that just for that day, a detective was hired from the afternoon until midnight. He saw me through the camera and was suspicious because an hour passed.
"An hour?" I said confused.
And then I remembered, I passed out because I bumped my head into something hard.
After I answered there questions, and told my part of the story, the principal told us a legend about a little boy who died a few years ago, and that he bet his life, he said it was a joke, but that same day he died, and some people say he haunts the school.
I was scared stiff, everyone was quiet, they were probably also scared.
The next day I went to school and I did not want to go through the hallway where the basement leads to. Everyone was gathering around asking me questions, even my teachers.
In was late to class 4 times that day, I told my teachers everything, but they didn't believe me, so i told them to call the principal, they has a quick talk and my teachers said it was okay.
I rarely even used that way, it was the quickest way to my classes, but I started using the slowest way.
From then on I started praying to god and started to read the bible, went to church, had a therapy every month, and did nice things to others.
I am thankful that god forgave me and decided to save me.
I am still scared to this day, and I wonder and question my self this question.....
