This book was created by year 2 children at Qormi St. Sebastian; scholastic year 2019 - 2020. The children watched the animated movie 'Crow: The Legend'. Then wrote a few sentences about the story. Visuals were given to prompt their writing. All the sentences were then put together to make up this book.

One day there was a crow. He lived in the jungle with other animals.
He had colorful feathers and a magical voice.
Winter came and soon all the jungle was covered in snow.

All the animals were very cold. They had to come up with a plan to save the jungle.

Owl came up with a great plan. One of the flying animals had to fly up to the One who creates everything by thinking and ask her to unthink the cold.

Owl offered to go but she got dizzy. All the animals thought Crow should go. He did not want to because he had a show coming up.
Finally he accepted to help.
He agreed that saving the jungle was more important than his show.

Crow took off and flew high in the sky. He flew past the sun, the moon and the planets to get to the Creator.
Let's do this!
While flying, Crow could see the light coming from the palace of the Creator. He was now closer to saving his friends and the jungle.

At the same time, the other animals were so cold! They needed Crow to work on the plan fast! Moth decided to fly up in the sky to find Crow and help him.

Crow got to the Creator. She gave him an important job!
The Creator gave Crow a stick lit up with fire. Crow had to take the stick to the jungle to keep it warm. Its important that the fire is not put out!

Crow met Moth on Luna; just beside the sun. While talking, Crow hit the stick with his tail and dropped it. He put out the fire!
Oh no! That fire was meant to keep the jungle warm! Crow was very sad.
Crow! What are you going to do????
Crow had to come up with a plan. He decided to fly into the sun to light up the stick!
