A long time ago, there lived a dragon. He had the color blue, he was huge and had pointy scales.

He lived in a nest in an old tree. and he had the ability to breathe fire.

Everyone was scared of the dragon but one precocious girl who was brave and strong was not afraid.

Enya wanted to became friends with the dragon because she wanted to be a knight.

One day, the dragon went down to the village. As soon as the people saw him they ran to escape the dragon, except for Enya.

As soon as she saw the dragon, Enya went inside her home and put on her sword, helmet and shield in order to approach the dragon.

As soon as she came face to face with the dragon. Enya yelled “Excuse me!”. The dragon roared and lowered his head to her level. Enya felt the dragon’s hot breath on her face.

“I’m Enya,” she said. “I’ve come to tell you to go away. You’re scaring everybody.”

The dragon stood up and Enya tried to protect herself because she thought fire was coming out his mouth but instead tears began pouring down the dragon’s snout.

“I’m so lonely. Nobody likes me,” the dragon said.

“Why should anyone like you?” Enya replied. “You burned down the castle.” “I didn’t burn down the castle,” the dragon said. “It was struck by lightning. I would never do that.”

I will help you said Enya. What are you good at?”

“Breathing fire,” replied the dragon.

“Well, let’s see it,” ordered Enya.
