Chapter 1.
Logo Contest
As everyone knows each fine school must have a logo. It should be unique and what's more it should reflect us, our desires, minds as well as status. So the day after we introduced a call for the best logo ever. This was the reason why everyone woke up and started to grab an idea. '

There were several brave contestants named
III LO Inowrocław,Poland,
ZST,Poland,
Jagiellończyk High School in Sieradz, Poland,
Sobieski High School, Kraków,Poland,
IIS Vittone a high school in Chieri , Italy,
French teams : 23AGLAbibac, 2AGL1Euro, 2AGL1GR6, 2AGL1GR1 from Lycée Lambert Mulhouse,
and the last one 1A class from Senica,Slovakia.

It wasn't an easy job as all the contestants were skilled either in drawing or imagining and full of ideas.
Day by day passed, the heads were whirling, ideas spinning around just to grab and get it. Unfortunately, they were not fully satisfied with their jobs. Suddenly, one spelled "Habrakaaa, Huareekaa, Done it!" and ... Guess what! It had been finished immediately.

Logos in Contest

Later that week they asked their teacher
Mrs. Sadie Hill who was a master of Holography and was able to be at two places at the same time to judge whose logo is the best.
She liked them all and she wanted to be fair, so she had asked for help. She'd asked her colleagues in all joined countries to vote.
..And..

Sadie HILL-She teaches Holography at Showgart. When you need to be in two different places at the same time, thanks to your magic wand, a beverage whose recipe will appear in your mind with much training and focus. The spell "holographus pocus!" repeated three times, a hologram of you will appear in the second location and speak and react like you.

They did it in their full respect of each logo.
Finally, with the total 46 votes it was the Slovak team who won the best logo. Number 2 was the Polish logo from Krakow with 30 votes, and number 3 was the Polish logo from ZST with 27 votes.
Congratulations!
As soon as they had had a logo they could approach to the house name, a magical animal and a uniform. However,it is another story..

The Winning Logo

CHAPTER 2
House names, animals and uniform

Name: Jennifer Turner
Age: 35
Personality: Determined and feminine character as I was the only girl with seven brothers
Subject: Reading through People’s Mind.

The story continues with the choice of houses, animals and uniform. When the pupils were sent to my classroom, they sat down in front of me. As soon as we started to chat, I prepared a special magical tea for them and, after they had drank it, I could read through their minds and choose the most suitable house for them. Next they were able to go to their assigned house and meet their school mates.
Showgart includes four houses. At the beginning of the term teachers and students discussed which animal best represented them and invented new names for their houses.
1. Platymagus
2. Aquilaclaw
3. Emperfeet
4. Wolferion

A contest followed to draw and then vote for the best Coat of Arms. All the students both competed and cast their votes. Here are the results:

Platymagus
mascot: the platypus from Australia represents unity, tolerance, balance and nature.

Aquilaclaw
mascot: eagle representing victory, power and pride.

Emperfeet
mascot: penguin symbolizing community, teamwork, purpose and order.

Wolferion
mascot: wolf symbolizing instinct, intelligence and freedom.

Before the present school year all the students took part to a survey to choose the colours and the design of the new uniform. As a result, at the beginning of the first term the Showgart pupils could have and wear the new uniform. Do you like it?

To tell the truth I showed my students that I had predicted the result of the survey by reading their minds and so I started to teach them some of the basics of this magic competence.

Now that T have told you the story of the houses, animals and uniform, my colleague will continue with some secrets about magic wands...

Another story will be presented by
Chelsea Turner- our Teleportation teacher.
It is the story about the Magic Wand...
Chapter 3
Magic Wand

I can't live without my magic wand!

My garden is the place where I have found my magic wand...
And this little fairy helped me.

My magic wand looks very simply but it has great power and it helped me several times to escape from a dangerous place. I am a master of Teleportation, so I must move from one place to another very quickly. I always use my magic wand and a secret spell...
Our students' magic wands
As all wizards, students from Showgart must have their own magic wands. The best and the most powerful wand is made by the wizard himself. Once, during practical classes, students were to make magic wands. They created a wide variety of wands: an eco-friendly wand which can clean the oceans, a colourful wand made of maple tree, which brings people happiness, a flower wand for wizards who love nature, a knife wand made of ancient steel, which can be used as a weapon, and many, many others. They were very creative in fact.

I teach teleportation so at my lessons students often use their magic wands to teleport to many different places all over the world. When they are tired or bored, they can use their wands, cast a spell and suddenly appear on the beautiful, sandy beach....

Chapter 4: Playing sport at Showgart

Hello! I'm Aleksander Hale, the survival teacher. Showgart is a very lively school, where students are given the opportunity to practice various original sports. And I'm actually responsible for supervising the students in two games: "playing with fire" and the "moon hunt".

Playing with fire
As this game is played in the dark, we need supervisors with an excellent sharpness of vision, which is hopefully my case, as my mother's animagus was a lynx.
As the students manage to create fire with their hands thanks to a spell (don't worry, wizards' and witches' hands are fireproof) to try and kill awful creatures (don"t worry, they don't suffer, they just vanish...
and are later reincarnated into beautiful everlasting flowers in the Showgart rose garden), accidents sometimes happen and once in a while, a student gets accidentally burnt. My role, when I'm alone to supervise, is to cure the student: I freeze her or him with the spell "Freezio!" so that she or he doesn't suffer.

Then I sprinkle a blend of stardust and of moon dust over the injury and let it work for about thirty seconds: when the skin is healed and has returned to normalcy, it glows with cerulean, goldenrod and alizarin crimson sparkles.

The first time the students saw a mate injured, they felt so worried and started screaming "Oh no, Dawid!" and running towards him, but then, after I asked them to get away, they were enthralled by the sparkles and so relieved to see their schoolmate's skin regenerate and see their mate keep on playing with fire as if nothing had ever occurred...

As a matter of fact, most injured students keep no memory of what happened. Indeed, when I unfroze Dawid and that all the mates cheered up and hugged him, he asked: "What happened?", and all his mates just laughed cheerfully.
Well, that's my job most of the time, as this game is played at night, and that I teach Survival in the day time. However, I'm sometimes not alone to supervise the game...

Indeed, once a month, my dear colleague Bah... oops! a majestic eagle hovering the sky of Showgart gives me a helping "hand": with her sharp vision and her tremendous speed, she dives towards students that are about to be injured by fire. It gives me time to cast a spell with my wand: "ignis abolitis!" so that the dangerous fire disappears by magic.

CHAPTER 5
USE OF GEMSTONES
It is going to be about personal experience of a teacher who spent absolutely wonderful time teaching young people in Showgart.

Let me introduce myself: I am Hannah Kravchenko and I've been teaching at our international school a very exciting subject, namely the “use of gemstones”. My experience in the subject is quite long and I am the author of the Great Book of Stone Science, which I introduced to my students.
A few words about the subject itself: it involves studying the powers of different stones since as we all know stones, indeed, have tremendous powers that we sometimes might not be aware of. Besides everybody would like to have a philosopher's stone, wouldn't you?

Well, the students in our school turned out to be very diligent and inquisitive. I must state that the task wasn't easy at the very beginning. First my students had to learn a lot of techniques and spells to to make use of the power of some stones, for instance, to use the malachite’s powers, they have to follow a protocol : they must boil the Malachite in a potion mostly composed of spider venom, after 45 minutes there comes the spell “Lithos malak alea jacta est” holding their magic wand in both hands... If the protocol is perfectly followed, this stone will bring luck...However, if it’s not the case it might lead to some undesirable and unintended side effects. Sometimes it is funny, sometimes it is not.
Some students misused the spells and their stones burst and went to pieces. Others used the magic wand which did not go with the stones, waited and really nothing happened. Practice makes perfect and takes time. But it didn't deter them from trying. They were strong willed and determined to succeed. My work with those young wizards was a real pleasure. They studied hard all the rules and spells, memorized their order, names of the stones and their powers and asked many questions. That was the best part of our cooperation. Questions were very interesting, provoked our discussions and led to some intriguing answers. I guess some of those young people will make wonderful wizards and who knows? maybe future scientists and teachers of our school?
Teaching here is an interesting art. There are so many things to learn from it. Students are a great source of inspiration for us. They bring in new information, new perspectives, and new points of view.

"Any stone can become a magic token if you think about it that way e.g. if you've picked up pretty stones from special places you've visited and brought them home as mementos. They already hold meaning for you so all you need to do is to is project your intentions into them."
Chapter 6
School Rules

I'm Bahia Sharma,
a half-caste born to an Indian father and a Greek mother. I teach calligraphy and time travelling – highly-enjoyable subjects.
Since I’m eagle-eyed, no student dares to lie to me :)
In Showgart we witness an array of hilarious situations. However amusing they seem, they pose some danger to the students and teachers altogether. That’s why a code of behaviour had to be created:

Students must not turn their mates into animals or things. Why?
The answer is simple. At one time magic class students, by accident, turned their mates into dragons, giant snakes, tarantulas and rhinos. What was supposed to be a silly mistake turned into a nightmare.

The school was demolished in some places by mighty dragons and rhinos, students had to protect themselves with magic spells against snakes and spiders and the dwarfs working in the kitchen were outraged as all food was eaten by the magic creatures...

One may ask: “Why marshmallows?”
Because it has already happened.
On PRANK SCHOOL DAY some incredibly powerful spells were used to turn all Showgart teachers into MARSHMALLOWS.

Funny enough? Not really...
The culprit found it impossible to turn us back into our regular form. Can you imagine? No teachers, no lessons, no guidance for students...
Eventually, the school principal was able to undo the spell but ... only after a week.

My name is Aria Zora,
I'm an animagus
Chapter 7
Experience with Magical Creatures

A word about me - I love fantastic beasts and all of the animals, I think it is very important for all the students who want to became an animagus to learn as much as they can about magical creatures that inhabit a coursed forest near the Showgart.
Some time ago, I decided to take my student to the Showgart Fantastic Beasts Gallery, where they could see all of the amazing species that inhabit our magical world.

During our visit we met many interesting creatures...

The Centaurisk

The Glucky Charm

The Elf-Garoo

The Lobsterausorus

The Flamingator

The Oximorius

The Leopathy

The Basterion

The Demimoz

The Lyria

The Saphira

The Platyrrel
The Eaglighton
The Diabollus
The Merouge
The Infuriatrix
After visiting The Fantastic Beasts Gallery, students were amazed with the variety of the creatures inhabiting the cursed forest. It was easy to see that their curiosity was not fulfilled, so I decided to take them for a short trip to the cursed forest. They were a bit scared but still wanted to explore it.
At first we encounter big green drago-like beast but with an eagle head. It was huge, terrifying but somewhat beautiful. Students identified it immediately- it was Deminoz. I ordered my students not to touch it as its spikes contain deadly venom.

Quietly we moved forward into the bushes, we used our magical wands to clear the way. The further we went the quieter students were. It was obvious that they were more and more frightened but still eager to see more.
Suddenly, we heard strange noise above our heads, we looked around and we saw big black panther with dragon's wings. We were all transfixed with horror - it was Saphira, extremely dangerous predator. I quietly asked the students to hide behind rocks, tree trunks and bushes. The beast started to shoot plasma rocks and, unfortunately, one student was hit.

The Saphira flew away, and wounded student was really in a bad condition. One girl spotted a small pink squirrel on a tree branch and remembered from our trip to the gallery that this animal has healing abilities. She was right - it was Platyrrel, an animal whose kiss can heal. In that moment I knew we were saved- Platyrrel healed my student and we could all return to the Showgart.
The visit in the Fantastic Beasts Gallery and the trip to the coursed forest was discussed for many months and my student are still asking "When is another trip".
