Hello! My name is Fredward Chutney the 

3rd! I am a doctor from the future, more 

specifically, the year 2078. I also have a 

little secret.....I AM A NINJA TOO!!!! 

Sssssssssh. 

You cannot tell anybody! I am here to tell 

you all about my amazing adventure back 

to the 1800s with my time traveling 

genie, Steve, as we meet and try to save 

the president, Abraham Lincoln!

Are you ready Steve? Let's go BACK 

TO THE 1800's! 

WHOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHHHHH! 

Here we goooooooo! Our bodies 

were stretched into thin noodles 

like spaghetti! I can already smell 

an adventure! Time to switch into 

my NINJA SUIT!

Yessss! We made it! The year is 

1861. It seems that Steve and I 

have landed in Union territory. OH 

NO! How will we ever find our way 

to Abraham Lincoln! Wait one 

second. Are those train tracks I 

have spotted? Argh! I should have 

known! Steve and I shall take the 

Transcontinental Railroad! 

Steve and I made our way down to 

Washington, D.C. to go see the President 

at his home. Riding on the 

Transcontinental Railroad sure was an 

experience! I'm actually on the train I 

learned about years ago in my schooling 

days. 

The Transcontinental Railroad was 

actually the finished product of 2 railroad 

companies from California and Nebraska. 

Can you believe that?! It travels all 

through the U.S. and the continent, too!

What is that? Could it be? It's 

Abraham Lincoln's! Steve and I 

finally made it! We immediately tell 

the conductor to stop the train for 

our stop.

 Eventually, the train calmly 

stopped and Steve and I rushed off. 

Before we knew we were about to 

knock on Abe Lincoln's door...

There he is the great Abraham Lincoln! He 

welcomes us in and we thank him greatly. 

We sit down and talk for a great amount of 

time. I then notice something on his desk. 

"Could it be?" I think silently. It is! 

Mr. Lincoln was writing his copy of the 

Emancipation Proclamation! This will free all 

slaves in the South for good! He has saved 

many African Americans from a life of 

hardship and tough punishment.

I am amazingly amazed, but there is a 

reason I have come so far back in the past. 

I tell Abraham that I must speak to him 

immediately. He grabs and seat and 

says,"What is the matter young traveler?"

I tell him that I have came from the future 

and I must tell you something very 

frightening. "What is it", Mr. Lincoln says. 

"You are going to be assassinated very 

soon." I say very sternly.

"UNBELIEVABLE!" he exclaimed. "AFTER 

ALL I HAVE DONE FOR THIS COUNTRY!". 

He is obviously very upset, so I take the 

time out to calm him down.

"I know how to stop them Mr. President." 

I said.

"But how??" he retorted.

"These amazing ninja powers will stop 

them!" I exclaimed.

After I reassured Abe that nothing was 

going to happened to him. I then asked 

him if he was going to go anywhere in the 

next 24 hours. 

"Why yes I was planning to go see a 

riveting play!" he exclaimed happily.

"That is the point at which you will be 

assassinate Mr. President" I said.
