"Understanding ELL Students In A Math Classroom"

In Iowa, there are around 140 languages spoke in school districts. There are around 16,000 students that speak Spanish as their first language in Iowa and are in the ELL program. These students struggle in school because they can not comprehend certain lessons resulting in them zoning out.
