Over the past 50 years, human activity has led to a situation where the population of wild animals on Earth decreased by 58 percent. People not only hunt animals, but also destroy their habitats by cutting down forests.
In addition, an increase in CO2 in the atmosphere leads to catastrophic climate changes that upset the environmental balance and entail entire populations of different animal species. Wild animals also die because of the need for their skin or blows, sometimes becoming live toys. Their death is always meaningless.
Nobody talks about returning to balance anymore, because this one has been irreversibly shaken, but it's time to start thinking about saving the last individuals of the most endangered species. Some of them cease to exist before our very eyes.

The equator penguin
The equator penguin is the only penguin species that occurs in the north of Ecuador and on the Galapagos Islands. The population of the equatorial penguin is currently less than 2,000 individuals. The equatorial penguins are endangered, among others due to somehow worsening air and climate change and the presence of other animals that not only hunt for young, but also transfer dangerous diseases to penguins. It is estimated that more than 77 percent have died during the recent events of El Niño. representatives of this species.
Blue whale
Płetwal błękitny to największe zwierzę, które zamieszkuje obecnie naszą planetę. Jednak jeśli nie podejmiemy odpowiednich działań, wkrótce możemy go stracić. W tej chwili populacja tego gatunku liczy od 10 do 25 tys. osobników. Płetwal jest na szczycie łańcucha pokarmowego i odgrywa ogromnie ważną rolę w podtrzymaniu równowagi ekosystemu. Największym zagrożeniem dla płetwala, którego 200 ton wagi można porównać do 33 dorosłych słoni, to m.in. zmiany klimatyczne i dewastacja środowiska naturalnego. Przedstawicieli tego gatunku można spotkać w wodach Zatoki Kalifornijskiej, Indonezji, Malezji oraz Filipin.
Humphead wrasse
Humphead wrasse is one of the largest fish in the world, it can be found mainly in the coral reefs of Southeast Asia. This individual can live over 30 years, and at the fair is a luxury commodity. WWF members conducted activities in Malaysia to block the export of fish to other countries, and since 2010, 860 fish of this species have been saved, but illegal fishing is still a great threat for humphead wrasse.
Whale shark
Whale sharks today are not only the largest sharks, but also the largest fish in the ocean. He mainly eats plankton and travels long distances to find enough food. Representatives of this species are found in all tropical waters of the world.
While whale shark hunting is prohibited in many countries, the population is steadily decreasing in some parts of the world. The greatest threat is the growing demand for shark meat that is still being illegally caught.
Green turtle
Żółw zielony to jeden z największych żółwi morskich na świecie. Ich nazwa nawiązuje nie do koloru muszli, a chrząstki, która połyskuje w kolorach zieleni. Występują głównie w wodach tropikalnych i subtropikalnych.
