125 g butter 1 tsp vanilla essence 1/4 cup milk 1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup white sugar 2 eggs at room temperature 2 tsp baking powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 190 c. Put paper patty cases into a 12-hole muffin tin. Cream butter vanilla essence and sugar with electric beaters until light and and fluffy. Add egg, one at a time beating well each time. Sift flour and baking powder and fold gently into creamy mixture. Stir in milk. Spoon the mixture into paper cases and bake for 15 minutes until cakes spring.
Buttercream Icing:
2 cups icing sugar, 115g butter, softened, 1/2 tsp vanilla essence, 1-2 tbsp milk.
Sift icing sugar into a bowl. Using electric beaters cream the butter with vanilla and half the icing sugar. Gradually beat in the remaining icing sugar until smooth. Add milk and beat well. Spread over your cupcakes using a flat knife.
- INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups all purpose flour + 1 tablespoon to coat the blueberries
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup butter softened
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup vanilla or plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries plus more for the top of the bread (can substitute frozen although bread may be streaked blue)

Jackson's Blueberry Banana Bread
- INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl, combine the 2cups of flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Place granulated sugar and butter in a large bowl, beat with a mixer at medium speed until mixture is fluffy and well blended (about 1 minute).
- Add mashed banana, eggs, yogurt and vanilla; beat until blended. Add flour mixture; beat at low speed just until moist.
- Place the blueberries in a bowl with 1 tablespoon of flour and toss to coat.
- Gently fold blueberries into the batter. Spoon batter into an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pan coated with cooking spray. Press additional blueberries into the top of the batter for decoration.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool the bread 10 minutes in pan on a wire rack; remove the bread from pan.
- Cool completely on wire rack.
HOT DELICIOUS DINNER
Feeds 2 hungry boys.
You will need
2 cups of dried zoo animal pasta
Salt
Olive oil
1 clove of garlic
A variety of vegetables like tomato, capsicum, snozzcumber and baby spinach
The zest and juice of a lemon
A handful of grated parmesan cheese


When you have got all that from the store you will
1 Cook the pasta in a pot of boiling water. Make the water as salty as the sea.
2 When the pasta is cooked you will drain away the water and set the pasta to one side while you cook the vegetables.
3 Chop up the garlic and chop or grate the vegetables.


4 In a nice big frying pan heat up a splash of olive oil, fry the garlic for a minute or so, and then add the vegetables. Saute the vegetables.
5 Add the cooked zoo pasta, and stir through the lemon juice and zest and parmesan cheese.
6 Serve immediately. Eat up.
7 Then do the dishes after dinner. And say thank you.



Abby's Chocolate Brownies
1.Get all the ingredients
2 cup (400g) white sugar
250g malted butter
1/2 cup (45g)cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
4 eggs 11/2 cups (185g) plain flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup chocolate chips
2.mix all the ingredients together
3.Make sure there is no lump of sugar or cocoa 4
.Get a tray put baking paper in
5.Turn on oven 180 degrees 6.pour into tray 7.Bake in oven until cooked,crispy on top 25 minutes 8.Wait until its cooled down 9.Cut into squares 10.Put into bowl 11.Get chocolate ice cream and an ice cream scoop 12.Put the scoop of ice cream beside the brownie in the bowl 13.Serve and eat .

Stella`s Anzac Day Cookies
What you need
1 cup Flour
1 cup Coconut
1 cup Sugar
1 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
125g margarine or butter ( melted )
1 tablespoon golden syrup
2 tablespoons hot water




Step 1. Heat the oven to 160` c ( 350 )
Step 2. put 1 cup coconut, sugar,flour, and rolled oats into a bowl.
Step 3. Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.
step 34 Put the margarine or butter in the bowl after melted.
Step 4. Mix in a tablespoon of golden syrup.
Step 5. Add 2 tablespoons of hot water and stir.
Step 6 Flatten mixture into biscuits and put it down on a tray

Krisnan's Chocolate bomb


Icing
50g butter
2Tbsp water
1 Tbsp cocoa
1 1/2 Cups Icing Sugar

Abby's feijoa ice cream
Ingredients
10 feijoa 1 Banana lemon `
1. Scoop out the feijoa inside
2. Chop Banana
3. Put all fruit on a tray and freeze over night .
4. Remove from freezer and sit on bench for 5 minutes to soften a little
5. Put feijoa and banana into a blender with a squirt of lemon juice .
6. Blend until smooth
7. put in a container. in the freezer until you want to eat it
( if it lasts that long!!)







Mini Party Pancakes
1 cup Flour
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1 Egg
¾ cup Milk
¼ cup Chocolate chips



Sift the flour and salt into a bowl.
Add egg, mix to combine.
Gradually beat in milk, mix to a smooth batter.
Add the chocolate chips to the batter.
Heat a greased pan.
Pour in the batter in small circles, to make them mini.
Cook until golden.
Flip to cook the other side.
Stack your pancakes as you cook them.
Serve with maple syrup or jam.
Yum Yum!









Loosely fill a large sterilized container with the feijoa skins. Add half of the sugar then cover with water. Place a weight on top of the feijoa skins to press the fruit down ensuring they are completely covered with water.
Cover the container with a tea towel and secure with a rubber band. leave on your kitchen bench for two - three days.
Strain the liquid into a sterilized container or jar then stir in remaining sugar.
Seal tightly with a lid and leave in your fridge for one day.

8-10 feijoa skins washed
4 tbsp of white sugar
1 litre of water

Ingredients: Optional:
Banana Marshmallows
Chocolate Peanuts

What you will need: Cream
Tinfoil Biscuit crumbs
Knife





Instructions:
Step 1: Wash hands.
Step 2: Turn the oven on to 180.
Step 3: Get a piece of tinfoil large enough to cover a whole banana.
Step 4: Using the knife, cut a slit in the banana from the top down to the bottom. Be careful not to cut all the way through.
Step 5: Fill the slit with chocolate. Optional : you can be creative and add things like marshmallows, peanuts, biscuits crumbs etc.

Step 6: Wrap the banana in tin foil
like a present
Step 7: Put in the oven for
12 minutes, until the banana
is warm and the chocolate
is melted.
Step 8: Carefully open the tinfoil.
Step 9: Optional serve with
whipped cream or ice cream.
Step 10: Eat! Yum!

Stella's Lolly Cake
Ingredients
120g butter
250g malt biscuit crumbs
190g Pascall Eskimos cut into pieces 1/2 tin condensed milk
Coconut - for coating
INSTRUCTIONS
Warm the butter and the condensed milk in the microwave.
Add the biscuit crumbs and pascall Eskimos cut into pieces.
Stir the mixture well. Then form the mixture into a log or small balls and roll in the coconut.
Put it into the fridge for approx four hours to set. Once set cut the log into slices.
