The crying child that makes an appearance in Five Nights at Freddy's 4 as the youngest son of William Afton, or the Purple Guy.

The FNaF 4 Crying Child appears in all games leading up to FNaF 4 as Golden Freddy. In FNaF SL, he witnesses (not on screen) his sister eating Mcdonalds happy meal, and it leads to his horrifying fear of animatronics. His father becomes distant, leaving his older brother Michael Afton to look after him. 

Michael, however, gives him mcdonalds relentlessly, and when his pranks go too far, Crying Child gets his head stuck in a really bad looking hat, and gets bit of 87 (despite being the bite of 83). He is left in a coma for 7 days, where he plays through nightmares (the FNaF 4 main gameplay) and eventually succumbs to his injuries.

Michael Afton (also known as Mike Schmidt and Eggs Benedict) is the main protagonist of Sister Location and Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, as well as FNaF 1 and 4. He is the son of William Afton, and the brother of Elizabeth Afton

Michael Afton is depicted as considering his plushies, (yet not Fredbear) as his friends, and being tormented by his Older Brother. Each minigame follows the days leading up to his birthday.

William Afton is the main antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's series. He has also been known as the Purple Guy, the Murderer, and Dave Miller. He is also Springtrap.

He is the confirmed killer of 11 children. His story is told through 8-bit-styled minigames in Five Nights at Freddy's 2, Five Nights at Freddy's 3, a cameo in Five Nights at Freddy's 4 as well as hints through Sister Location.

Elizabeth Afton is the daughter of William Afton and the sister of Michael Afton. She is the one possessing Circus Baby/Ennard.

Elizabeth Afton is first heard in dialogue between the nights. In this dialogue she is heard begging her father to let her see Circus Baby, and eventually sneaks away to see her. Baby's monologue about being on stage, reveals, as Elizabeth was the only one in the room, Baby's programming kicked in and a claw within her grabbed Elizabeth and killed her.
