On July 13,1999 an Olympian was born. I was
given the name David. This was the wonderful day
that I met my mother and father.
When I was about two years old I moved to MissouriCity. To be honest, I have lived in Mo. City for as long
as I can remember. When we moved me and my older
sister attended a pre-school named Good News Christian Academy.

At Good News Christian Academy I remember
the delicious food that I was fed. I was always
ready for lunch.

I was still going to Good News Christian
Academy when I was four and this was when
my little sister was born. I had to sleep in a
room with my older sister, while my little
sister had her own room.

When I was five years old I was still at Good
News Christian Academy, but I knew it would
be my last year there. When I turned six I
started first grade at Glover Elementary
School. My first day of school was weird.
Everyone knew everyone except me. I was
lost, but it was certainly a great experience.

When I was in second grade, I had the
meanest teacher ever. Every thing I would do I
would get written up. My parents liked her
because they thought that she was strict. I got
suspended for the first time in the second
grade, because I popped a fire cracker in the
school. I still went to school the next day. At
the end of the year I still graduated.

When I got to the third grade I had my own
room. It was wonderful, but the main reason I
got my own room was because my sister and I
couldn't share a room together anymore.

Yay!

I was in a class with a lot of my friends in
fourth grade . It was the first year that I was
not in a GT class. It was alright. I still
considered myself GT because I tried as hard
as I could.

When I was 10 I was in the fifth grade and I was
very happy with the teacher that I had. It was
wonderful being in his class. I want to be an
engineer and he is the one who influenced me to
become one. He was a wonderful. Fifth grade I
worked on the announcements and I had a great
year. I went to the end of the year dance. I
really loved fifth grade because I had two of the
best teachers. Mr.Soders had a step team and I
was a part of it with a lot of other boys. It was
the first time that Glover had a step team.In 5th
grade I got the President's Award in which had
Barack Obama's signature on it. It is in a frame
now. I was very happy that I was the only one in
my class to get chosen.
