It was almost evening and the sun was about to set, when the doorbell rang. I went to see at the door and a little boy was standing at the door.

By his appearance he looked as if he had not eaten anything since a long time and looked hungry so I quickly ran inside and got some fruits from the table and handed over to him. 

This little deed brought so much joy on his face which gave me so much happiness. At the same time my Mama called me from the kitchen and inquired who was at the door.

I told her about the boy and his feelings after receiving the fruits and she appreciated me for this little deed and told me that Allah loves every little deed you do to make his creations happy.

Just then we heard Maghrib Adaan from the mosque and Baba was ready to leave to offer his prayers, he told us that when he will be back, we will all go to the rooftop and see if the Ramadan moon is sighted.

I was even feeling more anxious and excited and couldn't wait any longer as this was the most awaited moment!   

Me, mama and my sisters offered our maghrib prayer and then waited impatiently for baba to get back home. When he finally got home, we quickly ran upstairs and we saw a quick glimpse of the crescent.

We all prayed for the whole humanity and especially for the Corona Virus to come to an end and disappear forever. We also wished each other the beginning of Ramadan Kareem, the month of blessings.

Later that night, my mama told us the importance of this Holy month of Ramadan. We talked about the little boy who came at our door and how we made him happy.

She told us that it is important to help the needy people and gave us an idea to make Iftaari boxes and distribute them to the poor people around us.

Later that night we all woke up for sahoor and said our fajar prayer and read Quran and slept back.
