Once upon a time, in a small village there was a beautiful young maiden named Gwen.

Gwen came from the most magnificent family. Her sister Briah was the town's most beloved pop star. Her mother was the greatest athlete in the kingdom. And her father was the town's sorcerer. Her father has been showered with greatness ever since he cured King Charles from the dreadful frog flu. Gwen's family all had a unique talent. But what did she have?

One day Gwen went on a stroll in the magical forest to clear her mind. "I must find something I'm great at!" She said.

After a whole day of trying, Gwen got so frustrated, she decided to head home. Little did Gwen know her life was about to take a wild unexpected turn.

When Gwen got home she saw her entire family laying in bed. "Oh my gosh Mom, Dad, Briah! Guys what happened!" Gwen said. "Evil Sorceror Dextra poisoned us with the frog flu!" Said Briah. "Who's going to save you?" Gwen said scared. "You have too Gwen! Your our only hope!" Her mother said weakly. "I'm so scared. But anything to keep my family safe!" Gwen replied. "Gwen, you have too use the powers of math and reading! Its the only way you can stop Dextra! By using math and reading you can get the potion to cure us!" Her father said. "Don't worry guys, I won't let you down!" Gwen said determined.

Even though she was deeply scared of it, Gwen had to pass the deep dark black woods in order to get to Dextra's castle. "The only way we will let you through is if you tell us what is 2 x 2." The scary trees said. Gwen had loved math class ever since she was little she knew the answer to this! "The answer to 2 x 2 is 4." Gwen said unafraid of the scary trees. "Vheese and crackers she got it!" The scary trees said angry. "You can come through." And off Gwen went onto her next challenge.
