Ben Kesslir was headed home
everyday from school.

Hmmm

When Ben arrived at home he saw a
letter that was for his mom. He opened
it up it was a credit card. Ben didn't
know what it was so he put it back
down.

Ben went to the store later that night
to go get groceries with his mom.

Put it on my credit card

Ben noticed that when his mom was
paying she was using the card he found
earlier. He noticed she didn't have to
enter in her card code, like she does
with other cards.

In the car Ben asked his mom about
the card. She said, "It is a credit card. It
is a card that had money on it that the
family could use but we would have to
pay the money back later."

It won't hurt my parents if I take the
card it is free money

family was using up a lot of
money from the credit card.

Mwhahaha

The Credit Card Corp. had just
finished the bill to send to Ben's family.
They needed to pay the company back
$7,000 for their credit card.

How did this happen?
What how much?
Soon Ben's parents got the bill for
the credit card in the mail. It said they
had to pay $7,000. They didn't
understand they just got the card four

Ben kept buying more and more new
things. He wouldn't stop spending the
money. Slowly making his parents
spend more money on the credit card

I wonder who has the credit card
Ben's parents sent in a check later
that night for $5,000. They used up all
of their savings for this check. They had
to save a little money to pay for food
and other things they needed to get by.

We would like to cancel our credit card please
We will do that
Ben's parents also called the credit
card company the night they sent the
check. They wanted to cancel their
credit card because they felt like it got
stolen. But this credit card company
didn't do that they didn't cancel the
card. They wanted the bill to rise so
they could make more money.

Now we have to pay $15,000!!!Ben's parents each week got a new bill
that got bigger and bigger. Like Ben's
stack of toys. They couldn't afford to pay
