Written for the last batch of Kindergarten 2 children from PCF Sengkang South SparkleTots 443. Teacher Izza would like to thank all of you for making my Internship a memorable journey this year.

It is 5 minutes before one o'clock. Lisa and her family is busy checking through their packing list before going to Changi Airport. Lisa is excited for her first trip overseas to Phuket, Thailand.

"Are the both of you ready?" asked Mom.

"Yes we are!" said Lisa and her brother, Max.

"Let's go!" said Dad.

Dad, are we taking the bus or the MRT train?

No Lisa, we are taking GrabCar to go to Changi Airport.

When moving from places to places, we can take a bus, *MRT Train, car or motorcycle. Sometimes, we can take a taxi or GrabCar to move around too.

Here comes the GrabCar. After putting their luggage in the car boot, off they go to Changi Airport. It is a 30 minutes car ride from Jurong West to Changi Airport. Along the way, the traffic is bad.

*MRT stands for Mass Rapid Transport, rail system in Singapore

There are many vehicles on the road. Lisa and Max were starting to feel bored as the car moves very slowly.

"Hmm, shall we play the 'I Spy' game?" asked Dad.

"Okay! Can you start first?" said Max.

Dad nodded and looked out the window.

What do we need in order to board the bus?

In Singapore, there are many stops all around to help people travel from one place to another. A driver picks up passengers in either a single-decker or double-decker vehicle. One single-decker vehicle can carry up to 90 passengers!

A motorcycle is a popular vehicle just like cars. It moves at a faster speed than a bicycle. A motorcycle can carry only two people on it, the rider and one pillion. It is important to wear helmets when riding a motorcycle.

After a 30 minutes journey, they finally arrived at Changi Airport.

"Changi Airport has 4 terminals and there is a place called Jewel that has an indoor waterfall. At Terminal 2, there is a viewing gallery to see the different aeroplanes. Let's go there first!" said Dad.

"We can travel not only by Land but by Air and Sea transport vehicles. Look out, what do you see? asked Dad, as they wait for their flight announcement.

After awhile, they boarded their flight and was on their way to Phuket. Lisa and Max are excited to share about their holiday with their friends once school reopens. Lisa looked outside the small window and smiled widely.
