I dedicate this book to Chloe. My grandmas dog, she inspired me to keep going and not feel sorry for my self after something happened. Chloe has kept me going in my writing.

The sun and moons daughters were the rainbow, and if they were separated there would be no peace in the forest.

Anyway, the sun and moon were jealous. Their daughters were so much more powerful and colourful, the animals forgotten how much the sun and moon provide for them. It was day light and the elder of the forest who was a human, was very sick. He polished the rainbow his last time before he left. The sun and moon were glad he would be gone so that they were in charge.

Everyone said their good byes, they all knew Sunflower could give him rebirth, but it was his time to go. After he was gone, the sun made a plan. The moon was not there because it was day light. At the celebration of life tonight for the elder the sun would have to miss it, but she can put on a cloak to hide her light. The moon would say " I am going to get my daughters ready". Then the moon will go back stage. The sun will go to the celebration and take of her cloak so it looks like its is day time. The moon will sneak the rainbow girls away, and the animals will think they abandoned them.

At night the sun put on her cloak and the moon came out. She told him about the plan and he agreed. She went to a boy who was very good at baseball. He was so anxious to meet the sun, he agreed. She took the boy to the bridge that led to another forest. The moon told the animals he was getting the rainbow ready to shine.

The moon brought the rainbow girls to the bridge where the sun and the boy were standing. The sun told the boy to throw the girls far into the other forest, so he did. All 6 of them by one hand. The moon went on the other side of the world and the sun did her thing. She went into the sky and shinned her brightness. " Sun why have you come up so early, we need to have the celebration of life for the elder". Asked curious fox. " Well, the rainbow girls are gone, so I thought you had it already. They have abandoned us".

" They would never do that". He sobbed. The sun shook her head slowly with her eyes closed, pretending she missed her daughters. Now there would be no peace in the forest. " What are you wearing"? Asked Billy the bear. The sun could not tell the truth that she had betrayed the sun law, never come out at night. " They are my Pjamas". She said. Billy laughed, even though it was a lie.

Mean while, the rainbow girls, were in the other forest. It had graves and dark corners. It was not like at home, where the sun was shinning and the animals cuddled you as you rubbed their bellies. No, it was horrible.

The girls stumbled through the forest wishing they would be home. " I can not believe mom and dad would do this to us". Whispered Daisy. " I knew that this day would come, we can all try using our powers to fix up this place, and to get back home". Grumbled Amethyst". Daisy got an idea. " What if we ride your dragon home"? Amethyst looked at her as if she was crazy. " Are you kidding. That dragon is only if we are dying. Like literally being betrayed it is a think fast kind of a move". Daisy looked down as if she was humiliated.

Amethyst was the oldest even though the girls all looked the same age. Daisy was the youngest, but she is very strong. Suddenly, a branch snapped. The rainbow girls whirled around in a flash to see a white cloak, hiding behind a tree. Daisy ran up to it with the light in her hand. " A GHOOOOOOOST"! She yelled. They ran in the dry grass, they did not have time to use their powers because they ghost was on their tails.

Sunflower realized, ghosts are dead. she can bring him back to life. She stopped running infront of him and used her power. They ghost turned into a boy. With silky blonde hair, brown eyes. And looked scared. Sky came up behind her and said, " that was not a real ghost, he dressed up and when you used the powers he just pulled off his cloak". Sunflower formed the word "oh" with her mouth.

" Hey girls, I live in the city and are you lost"? Oakley stepped forward and said " our parents left us here". The boy raised his eyebrows. " I am Mason, what is your names"? " Ruby, Sunflower, Daisy, Oakley, and Sky". "What is the purple girls name"? " Amethyst". He shook his head.

" Why are all you girls colours of the rainbow"? Asked Mason. " Well Mr. we are all parts of the rainbow, our parents are the sun and moon". Said Ruby. His mouth dropped. " Wow okay, I better be getting back to the city on my horse, want to come with me"? The rainbow girls looked at each other deciding what to do. " Yes, but we can only stay for a little cause we need your help getting back home". Called Sunflower.

Mason told his horse to get the other horses so the girls could ride too. Amethyst was going to ride with Mason though. They stayed the night in the forest with graves, using their powers to protect them. " Hey Mason why are you here"? Asked Daisy. " I was going on an adventure". Everyone knew what that meant.
