John Duncan was a unemployed biologist. He was 45 year old and he had two beautiful children, Christine and Andrew.

They lived in a small and old flat in London and they were very poor.

One day, John wanted to do a difference for his kids. He had the job interview for a biologist in a new Paint factory factory. David Wilson, a young businessman met him with Mary Carter, the factory's best chemist. He gave John the job and John had to start on Monday. John was extremely happy. He had lots of luck.

At the evening, when he got home, he saw old apartment with old furniture and and an old wallpapers and carpets. He didn't want it to be like that anymore. He told the happy news to the kids and they were delighted because they had dreamed about big house, a boat, a pool, about expensive holidays.... about pleasant life.

On Monday, he started his work. He was very happy and after some time he had bought big house near the sea and the boat. He was happy to be able to bring happiness to his children, but he still missed his late wife.

One day, during one of many experiments, John spilled some of the waste products on his leg and it left a red spot on his skin. He went to the doctor and doctor said those products were very dangerous for the environment, but John didn't think it was important.

One evening, Mary came on dinner and a boat trip. They were all very happy and they had a great time. They saw a group of seals.

A few days later, John gave the river water full of waste products to pregnant rats. The results were shocking. Baby rats were born without legs, eyes and ears or with even 6 legs. He wrote the report about danger of the waste products which had been put in the river.

Finally, after 6 long weeks, David Wilson had invited John in his office to discuss about the report. They almost ha a fight. At the end, David convinced John not to tell anything to the media, otherwise, he will lose his job, friends, house... At that moment, John had become a victim of Davids lies. There was no coming back.

After some time, troubles for John had started to grown. Mary left the factory and moved to Scotland and John's daughter Christine wanted to get married even thought she was only 18 years old. Journalist Simon McDonald was the one. John, how Christine had never had mother with whom she could talk, asked Mary to talk to her and distract her from the wedding. She listened to him and the only result was a wedding dated at the last day of June.

A few weeks before the wedding day, John organized the special supper. That evening something scandalous had come out at the day light. 4 baby seals were found dead and Simon, as an ecologist, vowed to find out what killed them.

One day, John experienced a shock. He found two young scientists doing an experiment. They had to do it because the whole factory wanted to help poor dying seals. John known it was Davids lie to protect himself... But he could not say anything. His arms were tied.

The big day had come. They all had much fun. John really liked Simon and his whole family. They were all happy because two great people were getting married.
