Hi, I am here :-) It works.
Any plan?
After a great first year starting to get to know each other with a variety of contributions from Northern Latvian shores of the Baltic down to the Southern Atlantic coast of Portugal, we started our second year full of hopes for the second cruise.
Yet we had to face some unexpected events and even though some partners had to sail back or couldn't eventually join us, 4 partner schools from Latvia, Denmark, Poland and France bravely went through challenges in unison, with a true friendly spirit that strengthened our bonds and enabled us to overcome schools' shutdown, lockdown, and still enjoy a great adventure that even prompted tremendous creativity from our pupils! Hélène SEVERIN , project coordinator
And the second cruise started with a quiz game!
New Year Cards
Cards from the far North, East, West and South were shared during late December '19 and early January '20. Students put lots of effort into creating personal cards and were looking forward to receiving cards from partners.

Sharing End of Year and New Year Celebrations!

in Denmark
On February 11th it was
Safer Internet Day!
Friendly Anniversary Menu
Students suggested typical menus from their own countries. A vote among students and teachers was held to find out what the most popular starter, the main dish and the dessert were.

Logo Project
Deciding a on a logo for the project was difficult. There were a lot of interesting contributions by the students. After a vote more logos ended in the first position. That called for a creative solution so a little bit from the most popular contributions were put into one logo. True collaboration!

Weather, Seasons, Climate Change, Environmental Issues, Challenges and Sustainable development- since Year 1

our partners' towns
Some school challenges were to be launched...but schools shut down and lockdown cancelled them yet...French pupils made posters and started collecting plastic bottle caps for recycling into materials for handicapped people

We shared our Experiences and Schools' Projects

Forest Project in Latvia
Green Project in Poland
Science experiments in Altitude, Pyrenees
The collaborative Global Warming Cartoon stemmed from an original idea of pupils who then managed the whole creation, writing the script as an interactive questionnaire, designing their bitmojis, dubbing them with their own voices, selecting music themes and finally editing it into a smashing cartoon!

And so sharing ideas from one classroom to another!

Even going beyond boundaries during schools' shutdown and lockdown

And with this final vocal challenge students voiced their own slams sometimes in their mother tongue as a reflection of our European diversity and common wealth, then voiced their partners' slam lines in an interactive chorus flow
