To all our Students and their Families!...

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Two mascots will travel to a different country. They will discover new cultures, new food, new habits.
They will spend one or two days with a family. During that day, the food at home must be completely healthy and, if/when possible, traditional and from sustainable sources.
The mascot will register in the diary the food, but also what they have done during the year.
By the end of the project, the mascot will return home and a display will be arranged to show the families.
Inside the classroom, the students will learn about healthy food and about the impact we might have on our health.
OUR AIMS ARE
- to make students aware of what food is healthy/unhealthy
-to develop students' creativity
-to promote healthy lifestyle
-to get to know new culture
- to change the eating habits both on the students and families.
- to develop ICT and language skills

The portuguese students have chosen 3 names and they are expecting that the Polish colleagues to accept to be the god-parents and to decide about the final name.

WORKSHOPS ABOUT COUNTRIES
WORKSHOPS ABOUT POLAND AND PORTUGAL - getting to know about your country
Students from Poland and Portugal take active part in a series of workshops whose aim is to get to know each other better. First Polish students watched a presentation about Potrugal, Portuguese students did the same thing about Poland.
Then every week they did activities like drawing, matching, quizes, learning basic expressions in each other language like "Good morning", "Goodbye", "Nice to meet you", "Thank you", "I'm sorry" and many others in Polish and Portuguese. They learnt a lot about location, capital, cuisine, famous people and places and other interesting facts about each other's countries. They enjoyed these activities. Some students say "Teacher.., I want to visit this place...":)
