Ramsey's Magical Adventure

Once upon a time there was a small lion cub named Ramsey.

Ramsey loved playing and rolling in the grass and chasing bugs everywhere.

Ramsey began playing in the grass when he saw a butterfly. The butterfly was pink and yellow. Ramsey sat up and then began chasing the butterfly . The faster Ramsey ran the quicker the butterfly flew.  No matter how fast the butterfly flew Ramsey didn't stop. Ramsey chased the butterfly through fields and meadows but then Ramsey stood up on two paws and quickly jumped and caught the butterfly.“Got you” hollered Ramsey slowly cupping his paws around the butterfly . Ramsey peaked through a small space between his paws and looked at the butterfly.  Ramsey slowly released  the butterfly back into the air.

Ramsey watched the butterfly fly away and then he realized that he was lost . Ramsey was not worried though because he knew he would find his way back like he always did. Ramsey suddenly heard a noise that sounded like a rumble. Ramsey heard it again it sounded like it was coming from him. Ramsey looked down and realized that it was his belly... Ramsey was hungry. Ramsey was still a little lion so he did not know how to hunt yet. Then Ramsey had an idea ... he always saw the other animals eat plants and bugs so he decided to try it for himself.

Ramsey looked around for something to eat. Then Ramsey saw a small plant sticking out of the ground. Ramsey scattered over to it and took a few nibbles.

"mmm" ,said Ramsey ,"that's better". Ramsey looked up and he saw the butterfly again .

Ramsey began chasing the butterfly. The butterfly kept flying faster and faster until it flew right through a big waterfall. Ramsey froze looking through the waterfall as he could see the slightest glimpse of the butterfly. Ramsey jumped through the waterfall. When Ramsey reached the other side of the waterfall, he began shaking off the water on his fur. Ramsey looked up and realized that he was in some kind of cave. The cave was glowing with sparkles and glitter everywhere .

Ramsey began walking around when he saw something moving in the cave. As Ramsey moved closer it looked like some kind of horse, but not any kind of horse . . . this horse was creamy white with long pink hair and some sort of gold shimmery pointy thing on its head.

Ramsey walked up to the strange horse and asked,

“What kind of creature are you?”

“Why I am a beautiful Unicorn” ,it said.

"A Unicorn” ,said Ramsey with a strange look on his face.

“Yes a Unicorn” ,said the Unicorn

“Don’t you have a name?", asked Ramsey.

“Of course I do silly” ,said the Unicorn, “It is sparkles”.

“Sparkles” ,said Ramsey.

“Don’t you have one to”, asked the Unicorn. 

“ yes . . . mine is Ramsey”,he said.

“Why do you have that shiny pointy thing on your head?” asked Ramsey looking at it.

“Oh” ,said sparkles, “you mean my horn”.

“Yes” ,said Ramsey curiously.

“ it’s for magic” ,explained sparkles.

“Magic!” said Ramsey with his jaw dropping open.

“Yes magic”,said sparkles .

“How does it work?”,asked Ramsey with a confused look on his face .

“ Like this”,said sparkles pointing her horn at Ramsey.

Sparkles horn got so bright. Then her hair turned rainbow and Poof ,Ramsey had a horn.

" Wow thank you",said Ramsey.

“Now have fun” ,said Sparkles. Then once again Sparkles horn got brighter then ever and Poof Sparkles disappeared.

“Wow”,said Ramsey in a quiet voice as he whispered to himself ,“I am a unicorn!”.
